No. That would assume that you're able to grab just as many offense nodes as a normal caster, which you can't. The amount of required nodes, and thus highway nodes is much higher on low life builds.

Further, 75% chaos resist prevents one shot if you don't have shavronnes. Is shavronnes amazing. Yes it is. Is it possible to run low life without it, yes it is. Ask invalesco, he was running one in HC before that armour was released.
