Singular Focus does not work when there is no favored maps selected

Singular Focus states that non-favored maps will drop as currency. So I have no favored maps selected and I am still getting random map drops, instead of basic currency.

Singular Focus does not affect certain Map Rewards such as those from Delirium rewards, Archnemesis conversion etc.
