you need impossible escape at supreme ego:

the other part is with a unique abyss jewel equipped.

with those you can run 3 auras. If you haven't got that you can use a 25% defense aura, which is of coruse weaker. please understand that i change up my character quite frequently. I have a the endpoint, but to get there are different build between. I will add pobs with different currency requirements and the builds for it over time.

Liking the build a lot so far, I found myself in the red maps suddenly getting one shot and being generally less survivable. Did I miss a step in accelerating my tanky-ness somewhere?

Yes, get a small cluster jewel with enduring composure, at best a 2 node armor cluster. The endurance charges will increase your tankiness. You can also annoint soul of steel if you're still mapping only. This gives a good push to armor.

Also a physical cluster as we need it also gives increased armor and is cheap (~80c)

Awesome, thank you! One other question, I switched out my Staff for The Supreme Truth and the Squire and found myself with a lot less DPS afterwards. Is that because of losing the crit gems on the switch?

yes. The main part of this build is crit with a high multiplier. but sceptres/wands with at least 40 more spell power and one support gem should be buyable under 1 div.


alternatively you can also craft them cheapish:

get 1 sceptre/wand with shaper influence(uncorrupted, at least lvl 84 but 86 works best)
get 3 fossils:

So i just bought a pretty good scepter what to i craft into it? i have a suffix slot and runesmith free. Is there others enhancements outside of those 2 i can put into a weapon?

I think as a runecraft spelpower will likely to be the most boring but effective increase. You could also craft curses on it, or even lightning bolt

suffix is easy, not crit capped? then spellcrit. If critcapped but nmot muliplier mod? crit multi

I dont know what i'm missing, my spirit charges are going off, even with Agnostic and Archmage.

Spirit Burst has the little blue "A" icon as if it was affected by archmage but doesn't cost any mana.

I currently am using the 3 auras, reserving all but 5 of my mana.
