3.25: Wand aquired - Crafting steps stay the same - Still invested 60+ div this time. Double crit support mod is a lot harder to hit, now power rune farm für restless spirits enchant Added new Beginner Version based on current knowledge. Currently running with pathfinder for comfy flasks. Switch to inquisitor, deadeye or Gladiator if you have mageblood. forbidden flesh/flame: Unleashed potential is expensive as hell, so we skip it. If you have mirror tier money or Luck through... This build utilizes Tornado of elemental Turbulence for Damage. This is a spell that can summon 3 tornadoes in Total and convert its damage from physical to a random element. It also chases down enemies. Showcase: T16 8mod gameplay

Capabilities
All standard content, simu wave 15 deathless(be aware of dangerous mods), 70% feared etc done This build is also a strong sanctum runner(20min/run maybe 15 if you are better at it than me :D) t17 with the right mods are done. Uberbosses done - all content clear - level 100 done.
Gear
First the core items: Of course the 3 abyss socket version is not needed, but its nice. For belt we use one of these, depending on your budget: 3.25: Thanks to runecrafts wands > sceptre: get haunted spirit enchant, until then use elemental weakness. as for weapons we use a rare sceptre and the squire (or a staff for budget): if forbidden Combo is too expensive we can still get dmg through inner conviction: Militant Faith with dominus - get a seed that doesn't change any passive nodes we actually have.
Mechanics
We use Lightpoacher to stack Spiritcharges(and archmage support + The Agnostic + petrified blood to stop these charges from getting used) You need to have a little bit of unreserved mana, ~50-60 mana are enough. We also use Unleashed Potential, Inquisitor/pathfinder and Assassin Ascendancy to stack all other charges. In the end I reach 19 Spirit Charges (95% extra elemental damage of each element) 8 Power charges, 4 frenzy charges and 6 Endurance charges. thanks to our chest we also ignore 19*4 elemental resistances (76% elemental pen) If prices for forbidden are too high, switch to inner conviction as well as use a small cluster jewel with enduring composure. (this costs 4 extra skill points) With GG Mainhand we also have one open gem slot depending on what you want to do: clear: Enhance (Tornadoes move a lot faster) Gold: Item Rarity boosts gold drops Bossing: Concentrated effect (40% more dmg!) dmg clear: hypothermia gives 30% more as well as defense with more freeze. Defenses: Stun immunity: This is achieved through either abyss jewels with stun avoid or with mageblood flask and stunavoid. Bleed immunity: Through pathfinder or avoid bleed flask mod on mageblood Armor: We use determination. Thanks to the aura nerf its now quite useful to get armor on your jewels. 30-50k is possible endurance charges were buffed massively and now enable us to use RF when reaching mageblood. Without raider we unfortunately loose spell suppression. Its to costly to invest now, so just switch more into live mods.
Map Mods
This build cannot do Elemental reflect All other mods are doable, but take care of reduced regen/lifegain and reduced aura effect and max resistances. The same holds true for t17 mods
Crafting
Abyss Jewels
Best way to craft them is with Harvest if you need to.
Currently is much more feasable to buy them as decent jewels are dirtcheap. Stats to look for: Crit Multiplier Life Armour Physical Damage to Spells. Kudos to avoid poison, phasing on kill and movement speed We also need 100% Avoid stun and need to fill up our resistances.
Sceptre or Wand
Base item: Get either lucky with heist orbs for +1 modifier or buy a base that already have that(at least ilvl 85 but 86 is king and will be easier). Void or Opal Scepter is best, but secrets of suffering would work too. Slam it with the cheapest Conqueror Exalt. Harvest craft the influence to Shaper or Elder. Awakened Orb the second influence. Prefix: Alteration spam 40% more Spelldmg(oh noes!) free suffix? yay - else Annul it and pray. Craft prefix cannot be changed (2 div) Money? - imprint! Regal it and hope for suffix - if not annul and pray. Craft +mana prefix (now only one open Prefix left.) Harvest Craft caster mod and hope for a good mod <- (This step may be improved) hope for free suffix or annul one :X craft prefixes cannot be changed and Scour -> 2 Prefix Scepter Suffix: 7. remove crafted mods (if there are still some left - but don't remove enchantment!) 8. add prefixes cannot be changed 9. add suffixes cannot be changed 10. Harvestcraft reforge crit -> got crit dmg or strikes? 11. try to get the second one :D 12. failed? -> remove crafted modifiers and enchant only prefixes cannot be changed and scour 13. It worked? -> yay! enchant first max roll spell crit and then! +2 support gemlevel.
Ring with Curse for dps
1. get the Base, either find a hunter ring or slam it with orb. 2. spam Harvest caster mod (blue juice) until you get elemental weakness and 1-2 other good suffixes as well as an open prefix: The good thing is, elemental weakness will spawn often, every 10th try or so. Combine that with good resistance mods or high Strength 3. craft suffix cannot be changed 4. Harvest craft life mod. This can only result in either a life mod or a life gain on attack hit mod. Good luck (It took me 8 rolls = 16 div, still cheaper than buying the ring)
Tricks and Tactics
for uber bosses and charge generation were there is no trash beforehand, always have a worm flask ready (or more!) Thanks to our impossible escape we always have charges for lifeflasks. Enhance increases the Speed of our Tornadoes, quite nice for farming maps and sanctum. Be aware that i currently use a very defensive version of the build. The damage cap is a lot higher with different curse and flasks. As soon as i reach 100 i will switch to a little more damage oriented build.
Sanctum
Sanctum is always easy with this build but there are some things that make it even faster:
Switch determination to haste Aura - > more movement speed and less time spend per cast equals easyier dodging Equip at least 3 wormflasks - remove defensive and gold flasks -> ramp up charges a lot faster Enhance > dmg supports. Faster tornadoes will offscreen many mobs without you even registering it. " I played league start with it, or at least with divine ire, tornado should be alot easier. So i say it depends. You only real core item is Lightpoacher. So after the first day you can leaguestart this, as the helmet is dirtcheap. I will add a starter Pob. " I just used the standard spell scion with mana nodes as there are several near the final version of the tree. then plug in archmage + arcane cloak + mind over matter + agnostic(without petrified blood ofc) and try get near the level 85 tree. I would take raider ascendancy first with bloodrage. as for spells, you could arc or if you already specced into pyhsical nodes, purifing flame or wave of conviction. Hi, I think I will try this build as my second build this League, but as Warden.
The 2% Shock thing and Scorch with Elemental Berserk could be nice against bosses, while still being all the fun this build had before. Maybe with Flesh and Flame Avidity for Frenzy generation and Assassin's Mark to offset the less Power Charges. Build is awesome nevertheless, had a lot of fun testing it, thanks! |
