VERY HIGH VALUE BUYS:

Valako's Sign - MASSIVE - chance to shock, leech, % incr damage which we lack (we are invested in flat damage)

A Conductivity on Hit Ring (this is to apply shock more than the elemental pen itself. The EO version has VERY low crit which is bad enough, we need shock to come in.)

Corrupted versions of this were going for like 30-40c yesterday, see if you can wait out a decent one for the life leech.

This is lowkey broken - apply with Frostblink. It's defense and offense in one. For the price it's unbeatable. If you can afford better, then it's Unnerve gloves instead, with Exposure on them.

I've planned this one out for my Buddy. I think without breaking the stratosphere on better rares and a better amulet than Foible, this is going to give you guys plenty of chase :)

Expensive pieces: Cloak 6L, Enlighten 4 (!) bricks one aura if you can't afford this, but that's all right, just drop Zealotry, put in Dread Banner or something.

Hey thanks for the updated PoB, i got gear similar to it and man its feels GREAT, tanky and good clear speed along with decent single target. For the large cluster jewel do you think Stormdrinker is worth for the lightning ES leech? we have a decent amount of ES and we already have life leech from crown of the inward eye and i dont see myself replacing that ever. So the cluster would be 8 passives with stormdrinker, stormrider, and scintilating. The rest of the setup would be the same.

Additionally i would like to fit armor, block or spell suppression in this build somehow but that doesn't seem very feasible without sacrificing a lot. I just want to get more one shot protection since that and DoTS are our only bane really.

Hi! For 20 div I think you do have a couple of options.


Do you like being tankier, or are you good at not getting hit much?


A) If you like being tankier, run this Archmage version, BUT WITH THE FOLLOWING CHANGES:

https://pobb.in/1DVGg5sWtgZC Drop Enlighten 4 (expensive) in the shield. Drop Zealotry and/or Wrath in the shield since you can no longer support it. Take out the points from the Reservation Mastery and use it somewhere else. The Stormrider cluster I hear is also very expensive, you can just take apparently a Sadist - Doryani's - Scintillating instead.

Prioritize capping your res on rares, T1 mana isn't THAT important, T2 is okay.

B) If you like going FAST and freezing stuff, but need to not get hit:

Wait maybe 2 days for the Ralakesh boots to drop in price, to maybe 10 div. That leaves you 10 div to buy the other pieces. Then start on the mid-budget cold conversion versions (Saboteur). If gloves are too expensive, use Hrimsorrow.

Both are a little tight with 20 div but I think prices for good rares will continue to dramatically fall, especially with Necro buffs coming.

If you have the gem slots, linking inspiration to automation-brand recall ensures nearly 100% uptime on inspiration at 5charges for BBoU

Early I used the Scales of Justice if my life/mana was within 500, gave me ignite/shock immunity and a chunk of life/mana/flat fire

A trigger wand works wonders with brand recall/sigil/WoC until you can afford unnerve gloves

The Last Rites curse cluster is amazing for sustain if you have curse on hit jewellery (conductivity is reasonably priced atm)

HOLY CRAP that IS some important tech. I ESPECIALLY love the Last Rites use - even a 1-point spend is so huge for mapping!! And 2 is MASSIVE. I was even considering anointing Mind Drinker... but this solves that! Thanks for pointing it out! I'm gonna chunk that into the research section when I have the time.

Hey! Hmmm that's a good question. ES leech works slightly different from Life Leech in that I think the leech rate is half as effective by default, aka 2000 ES gets as much ES back as 1000 life. I think this is because they want people to specialise into ES leech for it to be effective.

As such< I can't see ES leech doing much for us -- it does so much more for Hieros because they get a bunch of ES from max mana and their pool easily goes to 3.5k over. The other use case is if we fit Immortal Ambition in there - VERY comfy, or go Trickster with Perfect Crime and have the ES overleech node.

The good news is, you can test it easily for yourself! Get a Level 1 ES leech gem and just try one map with it - see how much the huge leech does for your ES pool. In my experience it can't really top anything off, recharge ends up doing most of the work. Also, the ES leech gem ain't bad, it's 22% more while leeching, which, if you Blood Rage, is almost all the time. If you go trickster, it's 13 + 22 % = 35% more damage, since you can be on full ES AND be leeching damage >:D

HUGE! Glad you're liking the build! Incremental improvements will come and budget breakthroughs as well, especially by the end of this week. Already some geniuses are sharing their dark tech in the thread (see 2-3 posts up) that will continue adding QoL / big brain tech to it :) Thanks for chiming in!

Thank you! difficult decision haha, i just dont wanna get oneshoot all the time, but i really like freezing and cold shatter sound with zoom zoom. What about the archamage version is more tankier with the same ammount of damage but slow ?

Archmage version is lower damage too. It is probably actually still be faster than a lot of builds to be honest, especially if you are done with 115 and are just spamming open maps.

You could just wear a Call of the Brotherhood on the AM version and see if it works for you!!

In the "WEEK 1 "Dream" POB for a friend" if you drop High Voltage and take Throatseeker + the master for "50% increased effect of non-damaging ailments inflicted by critical strikes" you get both higher base damage and higher shock effect for the same points.

Hi, this build looks pretty amazing. I started pal's archmage then transitioned to goratha's version for more tank, would i be able to use the EV/ES suppress versions of the archmage im currently running in the archmage version? don't have a ton of currency (think like 5D)but want a fairly decent map blaster.
