[3.25] ❄️ Icicle Mines Deadeye ❄️ Cheap / League Starter / Fast Mapper / 1st Day T16

Looking to play this for league 2.0, quick question regarding leveling, whats the minimum to switch to icicle mines? I see in the POB the skill switch is at level 52, is this a mandatory requirement or can you switch when you get access to minefield gem?

you can switch before, even after library A3, although it will be slower somewhat.

Thanks! are wands perfectly fine for progression? ONly ask as Bitterdream on the necro league is 30c+, nearly fainted when I saw it

My 4-Link Icicle, lvl 63 in the Necro Settlers Event (testing Trickster):

- Merciless Lab Izaro = 1s
- can complete and farm all low tier maps without any problems

Thank you! I was considering to reroll when i saw the prices of the unique items, I will stick to the build but just use a wand/dagger setup for now
I am using this on the settlers event. Though ok enough to complete atlas I got no real boss dmg and as for defence... papers got more. I would be ok if it had op dmg while being thinner than paper but my experience with this has not been the best. I got +7 boots, dis, rathpith + lightless version. Wihout HH. 4.7k life. The DPS is baad. No matter what ive tried. Ok enough for a league starter build.

You should skill Snowforged + Ele Mastery (25% chance to invert res), this is very important and strong vs. monster with resists (especially bosses).
You should also skill the other frenzy charge AND anoint another one on your amulet (if you can't afford it, just take Divine Judgement or Fury Bolts).
To further increase your dps, change one of your ascendancy nodes: +2 proj to +1 frenzy charge.
Started this build on Necrosettler , definitely great starter for me. Never before i reached t16 in a week-ish (or probably because i got lucky drops to sell lol)

Coming form RF enjoyer, here's some of my experience during the week:

1. Build is doing fine with Pconc at the start, then into some trash wand to grind white maps, then rushed to buy Bitterdream as soon i got the chaos (45c day 2-3 i think?). Build was doing great, until The dps starts to get rough on red maps even with temple gloves & crit multi (but no +1) amulet, so i decided to just grind high yellow maps instead. Had to grind about 6-8 divs to switch into Dissolution + Rathpith + March boots + Divinarius, then finally i can do red maps easily. Not sure if i missed something with Bitterdream build in order to reliably farm the red maps fast

2. I didn't watch any video or sorts going into this build, just straight yolo and do whatever pob says. When i tried for the first time to see how the Dissolution Rathpith combo works, daaaamn it's all dark mode on all maps that are inside buildings or caves lmao.
As some people also said in this thread, the combo does feels awkward to play if you haven't got used to it. You can't panic heal, instead you panic flamedash out of the way and hopefully you get no damage within 2 secs.

3. freeze/chill immune seems annoying with just the flask early on, and the build is also pain in the ass when dealing with caustic ground / chaos damage. My only solution for now is keeping the Arakaali & Shakari/Abberath pantheon, and use Purity of Elements instead of Zealotry. Lower dps but feels smoother in my opinion.

4. Atlas Tree:
the first tree i went Expedition & Abyss & Harbinger & the +20 no scarab node. Unfortunately Expedition got some annoying mods with the build, and abyss got that one annoying rare monster (the rushing carrion golem ambush guy). Got roughly 1.5 divs from tujen , and about 400 chaos selling random stuff (fract shard, good jewel, rog stuff, etc).

After i got the second tree, i went Blight & Beyond & Alva Temple. I should've just do this on the first tree instead, but my brain screamed "BLIGHT WILL KILL YOUR FRAMERATE AND THE GAME NOOOOOO". Instead of blight, i got my jackpots on Alva Temples to sell in order to get the Dissolution Rathpith combo (0.5-0.8 divs on Doublecorrupt rooms)

Maybe next league i will just go Alva, Beyond, and Abyss for the first tree.

5. Only reached the Exarch and Eater for the 2 voidstones, unsure if i want to continue with Maven and Uber Elder and grind more metric tons of divines to get all the good stuff (nimis, mageblood, etc).

In 3.26 i might start this over RF.
Thank you very much for this great build!
Hello, I'm new to this build, just trying it out, can someone explain why do we even need elemental res at high end version of the build since we stay at 1HP bascially we are 1 shot :)

I'm lvl 77 curently, but since i had a lot of currency I bought almost all the bis items, i must say the flow of the build feels nice, it's very fast and very good for a mapper. I tried to mirror the highend bugget build but it's very annoying cuz if 1 thing touches me I'm dead, I have alittle bit of energy shield that saves me from time to time 1k ES, but that's it. I don't understand how this build is suppose to work exactly cuz dying every 20 seconds ain't very fun... That shield that takes 10% of life every time u use a spell doesn't look very appealing. Is there a version of the build that is not 1 shot also or am I missing something ?

Edit: NEVERMIND, I'm a moron, just found out what Dessolution of flesh does :D
