[3.23] [SC+HC] Summon Homing Missiles (SRS) Necromancer: Starting, Leveling & Endgame Mapping

HH only really helps when your own DPS benefits heavily from monster mods. It's definitely not an "all builds" buff. This build sees very minimal benefits from it, so I would not use it.

If you're specifically doing boss fights, then the DoT ground from (Replica) Siegebreaker matters little, and I'd recommend trying a Mageblood instead.

Mageblood costs like 4x HH`s. I dont think I can afford it quickly :/

Hey, just chiming in here to say I'm loving this build, I tweaked it a little to my liking (very small changes) and I'm enjoying it, I'm running Rituals, Expedition and Blight and they're super trivial, I'm doing red maps now with pretty scuffed gear just to cap my resists

wow ! you are using the profane proxy !!!
a VERY nice ring, I also want (and has been) using it but the original post does not recommend using it ;)

I just got into maps with a 5l chest. I got luck and got the transfigured srs in my first trial. I'm struggling to get more than 3 srs up at once. Is this normal?

Depends on how fast your degen on them is. With a perfect Tavukai roll and plenty of cast speed on my wands, I actually can't get more than 6 out at once on that anyway, so that inherent limit in the transfigured gem isn't an issue.

It also helps to remember that total number out isn't what matters, since unlike attack-based SRS, they're not doing much constant damage while alive; it's when they die that deals the damage.

We can still take that mastery since we are taking the Sacrifice notable anyway.

I mentioned that in a prior comment, yes. Mostly I've been currently toying around with either flat-out waiting, or grabbing Sacrifice a lot earlier than I currently recommend. Still haven't come to a decision yet, I'll admit.

Then I'd just stick with Siegebreaker/Replica Siegebreaker for now, then.

Amazing build! Just got back to the game after a long hiatus.

May I ask 2 questions :

1. In your Final Setup Order of Priority, you placed 6 gems, not excluding SRS. With a max of 6 sockets, do I remove one of those support gems?

2. How does vitality and precision grant cast speed?

Thank you!

  • 1. They are listed in order of priority. Unless you have a specific reason to skip one gem, you always go from left-to-right, so in this case we'd leave off the right-most gem shown. (Concentrated Effect) The one exception is that we do not use "Increased Critical Damage Support" unless we have a Transfigured version of Summon Raging Spirits. If we lack the transfigured version ("of Enormity") then we skip the crit damage gem.

  • 2. The "Commander of Darkness" ascendancy passive makes our aura skills also grant 3% increased attack & cast speed apiece, no matter what skill it is. (or how little mana it reserves) Thus even at level 1 for those auras, they each will grant the bonus to attack & cast speed.

Wow. Thank you for being so detailed. Your guide is meticulous as well and i'm thoroughly enjoying following it to a t.

Cheers buddy.
Amazing build, have been absolutely facerolling in 3.23. I will attach my gear at level 90 below.

Is it confirmed that the Perfect Meatsack's bonus stacks with itself? I'm a little skeptical on that, since usually benefits from a minion don't stack. And that said, in the current revision I'm going with, I actually de-allocate that entire cluster so I can put the points towards Fearsome Force; that's 4 points for 60% extra crit multiplier; a huge buff on its own once you have a transfigured gem.

Just wanted to say, really fun build.

I would like to suggest adding Windscream to the boots section, since it can help with elemental resistance and also allows you to apply an additional curse, meaning you don't have to anoint Whispers of Doom on the amulet.

Yes, it does stack. With 3 of Perfect Meatsack, I'm getting 121k SRS minion life with the SRS of Enormity.
