Probably dumb question, but does this build still work well in 3.25?

Depends on the content? For pure mapping and opening the atlas? 100%.

If you wanna push into T17s/Ubers? No, unless you heavily invest into it.

The Archmage variant I played last league was much stronger than the original version, but I absolutely recommend getting Suppression if you're on trade on top.

Working on it, I'll update the guide this week as well.

It's also possible that Archmage would be better as before, but that means not even trying to go for Suppression, and you lose out on RF of Arcane Devotion, so who knows? I suspect mana costs as Archmage will still be far too much now ever since the nerf to Inspiration.

Plans before league:
1) Add full leveling POB - Done.
2) Add Animate Guardian + Mercenary gearing section
3) Add Trathan Gems/Item Mods/New Uniques as they appear
4) Show Archmage Option (late-game)

Expedition's End might open up Freeze for more of the good spells that got buffed, like the various Incinerate gems.

Why would i opt into using the three dragons , while i can use shaper of winter?

wouldn't it do the same job and better too by reducing enemy damage and increasing their damage taken ?

because i used your POB and found that Using a Rare helmet is better for tankiness and Using Crown of the Inward Eye is better for Damage

Three Dragons doesn't make you Chill, not with any Element. It makes you FREEZE, which Shaper of Winter doesn't do.

If you're coming from PoE2 you might think this is some build-up or something, it's not, enemies are just frozen 100% of the time, forever (unless they can't be).

Mind you, I still recommend Shaper of Winter for the DR and Chill vs enemies that you can't Freeze for some reason (though a case can be made for Aegis / Heart of Destruction).

Storming Zealot seems like a good Merc for this, he has:

Unnerve, Wrath, Wave of Conviction (Lightning). He's a lot like you.
