[3.19] DO NOT USE - Fuzzy Duckzy's Lightning Strike Raider - Great League Starter
We allocate a lot of "X% Non-damaging Ailments", why ? Which is in this build ?
|
|
"We have 100% crit chance, and we do a LOT of elemental damage, so we ignite, chill, and shock everything. Chill and Shock are non-damaging ailments, causing critters to slow down and take increased damage from everything else. If you fit an Interrogation jewel and allocate Secrets of Suffering, you get Scorch, Brittle, and Sap instead, which are also non-damaging ailments. Scorch gives you reduced enemy elemental resists, brittle gives increased crit strike chance, and sap decreases the damage that they do. The non-damaging ailments are responsible for a 25% boost in our damage. And they significantly drop the amount of incoming damage. Thanks!
yeah after uber lab things started working out. I also made changes on tree. UNfortunately couldnt take out Thread of Hop bc there is an allocation stuck in the circle thats also part of the tree. SO I can't remove the thread of hop gem at all lol. But switching to precision over HoI was a big help thanks. Have 1176 omni now too not 700 something like before. Anyways thanks for the info! |

Anyone mind taking a look at my pob and letting me know where to make improvements? I'm doing fairly well, but feel a little squishy.

" I do not think there is much you can do without replacing nearly all the gear. Omniscience combined with Farruls + Darkrays is always going to be squishy as you lose all the life and evasion from STR and DEX and farruls means you cannot run a chest with endurance charges and life as extra ES There are some things you can fix though: - Jade and Granite flasks are awful they are less duration and avoid ailments (You are immune to ailments anyway). Roll increased armour and evasion on these - Split personality looks odd it does not seem to do much looking at POB numbers so I would get a corrupted blood immune jewel with life and damage - According to POB Spell suppression chance is only 73% when not on full life. This really needs to be 100% since you have pretty low life and standard 75% ele res any time your suppression fails in high tier content you are likely to drop dead. - Shield looks bad does not offer much. I would try and get a shield with immune to ailments and big spell suppression roll and this should fix your spell suppression issue OR tons of chaos res as running at -60% chaos res means any chaos degens are going to killed you super quick - I would also consider swapping the watchers eye for a more damage with precision one. Crit multi does not do much since you already have 700%+ from elusive buffs. - Lastly swap your annointment to Disciple of the Slaughter it is way more damage since you are frenzy stacking Edit: Also drop Vaal Warchief as this means you Vaal LS comes back much slower and it is a big portion of damage. I would also drop multistrike for awakened added lightning damage as multistrike does not affect the vaal aspect of LS or the projectiles. " Awesome, I genuinely appreciate the help and info. Made the changes and it's already helped out a ton with damage and survivability! |

I was not following this build, but I am often looking for ideas, which is why I stumbled upon this thread. Browsing the last few pages, I saw that there are some similarities between our builds. But what I have not seen is one of you using fortify. We can either gain fortify by using the new eldritch implicit or by pathing to rampart and using the fortification mastery. Fortify adds a lot of security to this build.
It wouldn't even hurt that much damage-wise. An example might be the character StrangLittleGirl on my play-account: https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Donnerdrummel/characters The equipment is good, but I started out using fortify with pretty bad equipment. The damage is there - and dying sucks. even with an 11% chance to fortify on hit if you're using the armour option, fortify is pretty much always on 20 stacks. We can be pretty tanky. I am currently delving at 730 depth, and haven't met any unsolveable problem, aside from the bosses that I am to bad to handle, mechanically speaking. Since we're fast, can be tough, phase and refill ife quickly with life gain on hit, we're very good at delving. Which can revitalize the motivation at the end of a league, as it does force us to constantly improve survivability and damage. One of the first steps is fortify, which is why I wrote this. Hve fun! (\__/) This is Bunny. Copy and
(='.'=) paste Bunny to help him (")_(") gain world Domination. |

The subject of of this thread is 'great league starter'. Can someone confirm, that this build can really carry you early on into end-game with league start equipment? Or are there expensive items mandatory to get going?
|

" I 'league started' with 0 gear and basically no investment. Most of the stuff I was using into red maps was self-found / crafted. My first "big" investment was a Farrul's Fur for 2 ex, and that made alot things easier. The great thing on this build is that you can substitute end-game gear with skill points (Eg. Piercing Shots) Editado por útlima vez por TheCrovax#2877 en 6 may. 2022 4:30:56

" I can confirm, this build brought me from the start to the whole endgame, 40 challenges and headhunter. I hope it can keep this way next league. |
