I have a few questions as i'm fairly new to the game. Currently playing your build and working pretty nice as far as i have gotten(lvl 88 in red maps), but I opted out of some of your passive choices. Why would you go for Will of the blades instead of say, 2 points into heartseeker which would give greater result on POB. Or when you chose to go up in start saving 2 points but losing 17% life and evasion, just to take a detour on top to take Written in blood to get 12% to life. Is it for the 10str? And I have pretty high attackspeed atm, so not taking Essence tap, it would seem that i would spend mana faster than i could leech it. Anyway, thanks for the build and keeping us plebs updated on your findings.

The updated PoB should have heartseeker on it, I had it unchecked at some point and didn't catch it.

Since we are taking alira, skill points are king. You can go that route, it's not a big difference. Just how my brain is used to working when making builds, I almost always take the short way out.

Essence Sap is so you can drop mana flask in place of a utility or damage flask. Once you get your mana leech from the cluster jewel you don't need it anymore. Until then it makes mana something you can forget about.

Mana on hit, with the amount of hits LA generates will always keep you full, even on bosses because we are chaining off of hydrosphere.

Finally had some time to play and the build is super fun so far, asenath's chant is super nice once you get it, and the knockback is really nice for the league mechanic.


For the large cluster, which passive would you replace in the meantime? I assume Fuel the Fight and keep Essence Sap for a bit? Getting them all together is around 4ex but ~50c for 2/3. I don't know how aoe interacts with lightning arrow so would Broadside be okay, or would something like Arcing Shot be better?

Once I'm settled on a final version I will make an update pass on the post. I think it's pretty close, running t16's now with no problem. Bossing is hit or miss. If the boss is stationary or affected by knockback its ez mode, if they bounce around a lot or can just bypass the knockback it kinda sucks because they don't get locked into the beams.

I've upgraded gear a bit and it feels really good with some investment

good to hear, i've been slowly going thru acts to maps so the back and forth between changes has been a bit jarring, glad to know that you're still working on it and hope to the full guide in the near future
How are power charges being generated in the most recent version of the build? I see that Assassin's Mark was replaced with Sniper's Mark, which is a good idea considering flask charges are more important now. But this leaves no power charge generation, AFAICT.

hi

if i get a 5L chest, what skills should i left out? (either red or blue). does it matter if i left out added lightning damage instead of lightning penetration or vice versa? or should i seek one where i can left out elemental damage with attacks?
Am i blind? Where is culling coming from?

Anyway loving the build so far, blasting through maps in electrical goodness.
