So 250 maps + leveling and gearing 3 characters + 24 challenges

...was done in 10 Saturdays.

You trying to say you spent a few hours a day, 10 times, and got all that easily ...because of power creep?

This is extremly stupid making it harder to get to end game it's already boring and tedious going from act 1-10 for the 50th time.

100k dps was enough to clear everything in essence league

you can now easily scale up 5-10 million dps

this is far more than 10x more power creep

50 million dps is 500x more power creep.. but then they multiplied all boss hp by 4, so it is effectively 125x more. instead of whining about it you shouldve just been happy ggg thinks its only a 10x power creep difference since then

Clearly it's not "Easy" to get 5-10 million dps since it's not abundantly clear or reproducible to the masses.

So, again, still looking for this power creep that allows people to get that level of power through no effort on their part other than having purely existed. Because that's what power creep is, right? Having gained power effortlessly?

Not seeing where my passive skills provide 10x the amount of stats as they did years ago. Or how gear has 10x the power as it did years ago. Or how currency is dropping 10x more than it did years ago.

Maybe there's something very specific that has to be done.

Well it's boring/tedious because it's low effort. You don't have to pay any attention, alt tab most of the time. I'm interested to see how enemies change, because that will make mapping better.

And maybe when this is all said and done, they will give you the ability to skip story after 1 completion as a bonus for going through the more difficult version.

no it's boring beacause there is zero point to it really. Making me take 2-3 or even 5 X's longer to get through acts 1-10 won't make it more fun, it will make it worse. All it really is is, "I want to try the new mecahnics acts 1-2, then lets get to end game and try mechanics there.

Something like equipping support gems?
Those used to provide increased dmg back in the days and some still do, which is why nobody is using those.
The only supports acutally worth using right now are those with more dmg modifiers. This was even mentioned on stream and is one of the biggest contributors to the ongoing powercreep.

I don't know why it's "clear" that 5 mil dps isn't easy to get. This is 2021. All you need to do is copy whatever is on poe ninja and youll have much more than 5 mil dps. This doesn't even require a fully functioning brain, it's literally a matter of monkey see monkey do.

Your understanding of this game is at best: poor. The fact that you think random shit like passive tree offering 10x more stats is how this game snowballed powercreep couldn't be any more wrong. This game scaled out of control because they added more higher tier rolls to existing mods, they added influence mods for rares that supercede what was once supposed to be exclusive for things like unique items, and they added more damage multipliers over the years.

The game is not balanced around incompetence.
