" Which PoBs are you comparing. The setups are different when leveling and in the low budget because they use different items. The goal with the lowbudget version is to hit Triad Grips and convert all phys damage to cold and start scaling cold modifiers. Before that we use a mix of phys, cold and fire damage (Artless Assassins). The leveling build also uses Vixen's Entrapment gloves (Usually cost like 2c) to carry damage during the early game as it allows for 2 curses to be used. Since we run Assassin's Mark aswell we scale crit on the leveling version. It seems like you're comparing the levleling build to the "Tanky" Low budget version. The tanky version sacrifices ALOT of dps (Necro Aegis et.c.) to get maxblock and Determination for 35k armour. That's why the leveling version has more dps, it's more glasscannony designed to oneshot early map bosses and progress the atlas fast. The "classic" or regular low budget version does 3 times more damage than the leveling version. |

" I always go to /global 6666 where people share spectres with eachother. You ask if someone got your spectre in that chat and people usually invite you. However, this league Syndicate Operatives won't be meta so I'm afraid it'll be hard to get spectres from there. Come to think of it, I think it will be hard to get these spectres at all cause people won't be sharing them like crazy. I'm really considering leveling a 28 necro just so I can create a spectre bank for SOs. This might actually be a problem because these spectres are very hard to get. |

" To be completely honest, I'm not sure whether Phys is better than Cold for this build now or not. Majority seem to move away from Cold conversion and Elemental minions in general after they destroyed Elemental Equilibrium. It might turn out that Phys actually is better for this build, not sure because I haven't tried and don't know how to create phys builds. One of the primary reasons why I play cold though is for the lategame scaling and the chase items. Cold conversion has the potential to upgrade the build with 10-link minion helms. Phys has nothing like that. I'm not sure what type of helm I would use for my Carrions on a pure phys build. All I know we can get is +3 levels, minion damage and 4% crit. The 30% more Elemental dmg Essence modifiers and Hypothermia et.c. won't work and I don't know of any replacement stats to go for. Pur phys might be stronger at lower budgets though when all we use is +3 helms with minion damage. Not sure. To answer the questions: 1. GGG decided to straight out remove the medium clusters we want to run in this build. We don't know what the replacement clusters will do, but for efficiency reason high budget minion builds always run 12 pointers nowaday. It's simply for the stat efficiency. If you get 35% effect and attack speed on those clusters there's no better way to spend points in your tree. 2. Fortress and Quickening covenant don't disable noteables at all when in a cluster. It's the perfect place to put them. 3. I tried to minmax a PoB version of my build during ritual. Had a 10 mirror version of my build back then. And I just couldn't make it work. Energy shield requires too much investment in the tree to pick up energy nodes. It also requires a crapton of investment to get high ES numbers on the gear. After putting on literal perfect ES gear back then I ended up with similar ES numbers to HP and less dps. Couldn't get it to work. I've always wanted to go ES because of Chaos Inoculation (Getting Chaos res is literally impossible on this build without Harvest) but it just requires too much investment on the gear. Every single rare piece literally needs like T1 flat ES and %ES to even get above 5k ES. 4. Not really. Hateforge was in Ultimatum but that league mechanic is on standby right now. So nothing from then is left and Expedition just introduced pepeg ward uniques worth 1 alch. 5. AG is always in the ring, this build is EXTREMELY socket starved and we can't fit him anywhere else. The best defense bonus we can get for him is a +3 on the ring. Running 21/20 divergent AG within a +3 Ring brings him to 90k health, at which point he's basically unkillable. I almost never lose my AG. Sometimes he can die though to random oneshots from shotgun mechanics like the Redeemer conqueror or 60 Beyond Rings exploding at the sametime while he's inside them. Nothing saves him from that. 6. Which build? This build will be able to run 4 Auras this league. Hatred - Juiced Skitterbots - Determination - Grace In the past we had to remove one of the 50% auras. This is not an Aura stacker so 4 will be the maximum. GGG decided to completely destroy Aura stacking this league. It's literally impossible to stack auras like before because GGG put a diminishing return on Reduced mana reservation. I think someone dedicating their entire character to Auras will be able to squeeze out 6 auras this league with BiS gear, maybe 7 or even 8. GGG also nerfed Increased aura effect to the ground AND removed it from alot of sources. You don't want to try stacking auras again. |

" That low budget build has WAY more damage than the leveling build. Against non-boss targets the leveling build is at 4.6 million while the lowbudget is at 14.3 million. Yes, you will see higher dps numbers but that's because it assumes maximum Power Charges from Victario's Charity. Against pure ST bosses like Shaper your minions won't procc Power Charges to eachother so their crit chance is much lower. That's why we don't run increased crit damage, gotta unbox power charges aswell. (They still have frenzy though) Increased crit damage support will become BiS for them later on though when we craft minimum power/minimum frenzy charge shields. We could also potentially run Assassin's Mark for single target to provide Power Charges to minions during single target boss fights. It'sonly 5% procc chance though so don't think it'll be up enough. |

Wonderful - thank you for the answers. I shall continue with this build at least to low tier budget then I might look into a phys build. Especially with all the 20% overwhelm to phys that we can get and EE being removed from our side of the tree. Thank you very much for making my favorite minion viable again.
