[3.21] Cold Conversion Summoner | Build guides for all budgets | (Ghazzy Zoomancer)

For those new to Spectres (like me :D), could you give a small TL;DR where to get the new spectres you chose til league start? Im not really getting much out of enemy names so far.
Would be awesome <3

Sure. To me there currently are 3 relevant spectres for the build.

1. Artless Assassins. The only purpose these spectres serve is as day1 or day 2 spectres before we can get better high end spectres.
In the past, we had nothing to raise on league start. Everything was just locked behind the lategame. Artless Assassin's however, are very strong spectres that we can get early game from Heist contracts.

Despite being strong spectres, the problem with these are that they're Fire spectres with inbuilt 75% fire Conversion. While decent early on, you don't want to scale fire for lategame because you really can't. (Hatred is like 8 times better than Anger aura)

2. Hyrri's Watch spectres.
These are looking like they'll be decent for this league. They're cold spectres with VERY high damage on their projectiles. Their weakness is their slow attack speed. These spectres are looking like they will do double the damage of Syndicate Operatives (Previous top dog spectre).
Their attacks also have an insane attack range which is nice for clear.

3. Syndicate Operatives:
While massively nerfed they might still have a spot. Despite doing far less dps than Hyrri's watch, their attack speed is out of this world.
I'm currently testing these out in my new build draft with Summon Phantasms aswell. Since they shoot out 3 projectiles every time they attack and attack several times per second the procc rate on Phantasm is so fast that you get max amount of Phantasms out almost instantly on single target.
Hyrri's Watch spectres had a very slow and tedious rampup to get spectres out for single target.
We should probably focus on single target only because SO and the phantasms will have enough clear speed like we are used to right? (Not to mention if we can actually gear the AG with gravebind) I found your medium cluster idea very interesting, which would make the spectres very tanky.

Currently testing SOs out and it just feels so good, especially for bosses. I am currently farming Guardians on a scuffed lowbudget setup with SOs. I simply swap GMP for Hypothermia.

The DPS is actually very good.

And the actual clearing with GMP feels even crazier than before since there's also 11 Phantasms going around shooting Projectiles with GMP.
Hard to tell how much of an effect SO shotgunning is having in my testing while mapping though.

I'll post some videos soon.
I keep searching and I think this is it. I will try this build and see how it goes :)

Thank you.

Thanks! So I "just" open some Legion or Betrayal Maps (for 2 and 3 respectively) and hope they spawn to then revive them? Or is there a trick to get them?
Sorry for my noobiness haha, never played Spectres.
I wanted to do this league something again with Carrion Golems but loved the SO build I used last league. I think now I found the perfect combination :-)

Thank you! Will follow the build and use it starting tomorrow :-)
What about dual clayshapers on leveling/early game?

Crafting a 12 passive large cluster like the one in the intermediate pob seems really difficult. How do you do it?

Buy base
Alteration craft Renewal + 35% effect. Probably easiest using 1 point resonators with Pristine (Life) fossils.
This is the easy part.

Once done you gotta get rid of the suffixes most likely.
Simply pray and use anull orbs.

Once base only has 2 prefixes and no suffixes, finish it with Harvest crafts.
Harvest slam Augment Speed (1/3 to get T1)
Then finish by slamming Augment crit to get Vicious bite 100% of the time.

Another option after getting your 2 prefixes is to spam reforge keep prefix until you get 3% attack speed. If you only get that suffix, slam crit with harvest. If you get 2 suffixes, anull and pray for the 1/4. If it bricks you go again.

It for sure is an expensive jewel, but pretty easy to make and predicated on getting Harvest crafts.

One option maybe could be to use Pristine + Shuddering fossil for Life + Speed mods and then simply finish with Vicious Bite slam from Harvest.
Thinking of it, I think they are adding crit fossils into the game aswell. Maybe using fossils alone could be an option. However, getting the 35% mod is the most important thing so it will require ALOT of tries if you're only gonna use fossils.

Augment crafts are exceedingly rare. This league, out of 300+ harvests times average 4 fields so at least 5000+ of those crafts (fire, cold, spd, attack...) I found *zero* augments.

You sure?
I could swear I read Determination was reduced down to 35% in the manfiesto or the patchnotes. They also gave it like 2300 base armour while giving grace ~30 more evasion or something like that.

I clearly remember wondering why they lowered the reservation on Determination while not touching it on Grace.

Either GGG were sneaky and removed that change or I dreamt it all up.

I remember something about 35% Determination as well, however there are no info about it in manifesto neither in patch notes or todays gem info.
