Original guide is a little messed up, suggest looking at the POB and looking at other characters in this thread to understand what you need to do.

Hello,
I'm a new beginning player from Taiwan. First, I'm sorry that my English is not good and hope you can understand what I say. I'm following this great guide to play this build and have a good game experience so far. I am lv85 now and start to T14~T16 maps but have some difficulties. 1. I sometimes die suddenly from HP 100% to 0 when clearing the map. I don't even know what happened to die. Is there anything I can be improved on my defenses? 2. " Both unnatural instinct and thread of hope is missing. These are huge for the build. Your gloves could use another pair, and not sure if enfeeble will override your vulnerability curse, but that could also be an issue on the gloves your wearing your flasks could also gain some more dps, with added att spd and more crit chance on just 2 of them. " There is no one specific thing. Crit, impale, flat damage, increased damage, attack speed, gem levels, etc. all scale multiplicatively. The more you have of one the better the others are. The biggest factor is your paradoxica. You need a version with physical % and attack speed. Attack speed on weapons is a local modifier, it increases the base speed of the weapon, which than scales multiplicatively with other attack speed bonuses. A better paradoxica increases you overall damage by ~50%. You can also increase the base damage by increasing the quality over 20% with hillock in transportation (syndicate). Even a better paradoxica has quite low base damage, thats why flat damage from abyssus, rings and gloves are are important. Your gloves especially contribute very little to your damage (you actually lose less than 1% damage with no gloves equipped). Also you override vulnerability with the enfeeble curse on hit. Your crit chance is also low (40%). Increasing crit chance and crit multiplier scales damage up very fast. The best way to increase crit chance would be +# crit chance on the body armour and a diamond flask with charges on crit and use on full charges enchant. The thread of hope is also important, as it frees up alot of your skill points. Sadly most of these changes are quite expensive so you will just have to incrementally farm up upgrades.
