[3.16]Physical Conversion Bowyer | Barrage + IS/LA/TS | PF/Deadeye | All content
" Hey man, I took a look at your PoB, but I'm afraid that your set up is not really good, and I guess you got some overpriced items (at least not good enough for this build). What you are lacking most is your damage, and you also lack decent life rolls on your gear. Here are my suggestions for you: 1. First thing you should look for is to get a scourged Chin Sol with flat phys. Try find one with 400 pdps, it will massively increase your damage. 2. You are using rare gloves + conversion eye. However as I said in the guide, if you want this set up, you need culling gloves + 2 mod eye. Otherwise you should just use Hrimsorrow with crit corrupt + penetration eye, will give you a lot more dps compare to yours, and way cheaper I suppose. 3. Your res is overcapped by quite a lot, and you have res all over your gears. The optimal strategy should be, get tons of res on your boots, so you can free your other slots for damage. Check the gear section for how to craft boots with high res, it should be cheap and easy. 4. Your belt is too bad, it should be quite easy to get one with t1/t2 ele damage with att + t1/t2 life rolls. Your amulet is also not good enough since there is no life roll. You would probably be better off just using pandemonius, or replica hyrri with 2 heralds. For ring, you can also craft a better one by spamming essence of scorn pretty easily. 5. On your tree, don't take all 8 points on large cluster, you should always either take 7 points for all 3 notables, or 5 points for 2 notables + 2 jewel slots. Also you don't need the mana leech nod since you have cluster. 6. Also since you don't have much cold penetration on gear, you would probably find cold pen better than added cold in your barrage 6l, plus awk cold pen is very cheap. Here are my quick suggestions, feel free to let me know if you need more guidance on how to improve your set up. |

Hi,
Thanks for the guide its really detailed and that's why I want to give a shot to crafting, which I usually don't. I'm trying to craft a good bow (for the feeling of accomplishment), however I'm struggling to find a fracture harvest. I did run 100+ haewark harvest, 4 watchstone with chance for T4 but no luck. What's the best way to fracture the 2 additonal arrow bow....is there a better way for harvest farm / chance for fracture seed, or do you think I'm better off just buying it on TFT discord? " Hi, After the endless nerf on harvest, finding a fracture you need yourself is probably harder than finding a HH drop. You are unlikely to see one even after 1k haewark maps. So definitely buy that on TFT, but the fact is there might not even be one on the entire TFT in a day. Std economy is more fucked up than ever these days, almost no one is really playing, so I'd suggest if you could, play the league for better trading experience. Anyway, best of luck crafting! |

So what are the "base lines" to know....? What I mean is:
1. Crit Chance: you want as much, as possible, but, I assume, at least 30%+ to even begin to feel it? And somewhere at 70%+ it would be considered "adequate"? 2. Crit Multi: as much, as possible, but somewhere 400+% is bearable and you should aim for 500 at least? 3. Flat Cold Dmg: what would be the "normal" amount? At what point you would consider this no longer a priority and you would want more of other things? 4. Cold Pen: how much should it be a minimum in order to make sense even? For instance, imho something like 5-10% is barely sensible, so you might want to heave at least...? Did I numbered everything in more or less right priorities (1, 2, 3,..) or it should be some other way? Did I miss anything else important of which damage is comprised of ? |

Idk how u play this build consistently, I followed the guide closely, spent around 25-30 ex. Clearspeed is porn, but this build dies instantly to even the slightest little damage. U cannot possibly dodge everything when the whole screen is popping, there are 3 different layers of shit on the floor, and maps sometimes have 2-3 bosses. Insanely glasscannon imo, nothing to do with personal skill...

" I made a mixture of this and Ice Shot guy's build. So got evasion 75%, got spell suppression 70+. Feels fine. |

" Hi, So for all 4 stats you mentioned here, the best answer is to actually check in PoB. If we are just looking at dps, of course we want all four as high as possible, and there is not really a priority here, all 4 are useful to our dps, and they come from different sources. But in reality you cannot have everything, and therefore the only thing you should really care about is to check the dps number on PoB (make sure you have the correct set up though). For crit, if you are using both inc crit strike and inc crit damage support, it should be quite easy to get 70%+ crit chance and 500 crit multi. There is no threshold like you need to get at least ### of crit multi, the build is still playable when you only have 400 multi. For flat damage, our main source is from weapon (and if you are using added cold support), thats why you should try to get a Chin Sol with as high pdps as possible. But for other slots, flat damage is not really priority. In fact for slots like amulet/ring, there are quite a lot better mods than flat damage as I listed in the guide. Similarly, there is no minimum cold pen required, you just get it where you can. When you have very little cold pen on gear, switching added cold damage support into cold pen support will probably give you higher dps, and vice versa. But again, compare in PoB. |

" It is true that this has nothing to do with personal skill, it is more about the gear set up. TBH I consider myself very bad at gameplay skills, I can often die due to bullshit reasons even if I'm playing much tankier build. And thats exactly the reason why I like such builds, if I die anyway, I would rather play a zoom zoom glass cannon build. However, I definitely don't die as much as you described here. I have done 40/40 multiple leagues with this build, it is true that I die quite often early league, but after I was able to get my gear to a certain level, deaths will become quite rare. And as the other guy has suggested here, if you want to go more defensive, get more evasion and spell suppression. |

Is there a reason why top Poe.ninja players use LA + Barrage support?
Opposed to the standard Barrage skill, it seems that LA + Barrage support gives less damage in my PoB. Is there some interaction going on that isn't documented in the PoB dps calculator? |
|
" By top players, are you ranking by exp or dps? There is no special interaction, and if only looking at dps, barrage should be higher. But LA + barrage support is easier and more flexible in gearing since you won't need extra phys conversion on gear. |
