Thank you for the guide its been a fun league starter so far. I didn't really like enduring cry for triggering inspiration so I made some adjustments.
All of this is cheap gear for around 150c spent I think. Replica Atziri's Foible seems pretty good hopefully. I went with Cyclone for phasing, instant Inspiration charges, crits to activate Elemental Overload, and cold damage on gloves to trigger Elemental Equilibrium, and Fortify. I enjoy the move speed granted by The Stampede and the extra anointment for Inexorable helps with automatic endurance charge generation.
Thanks Keynomaru2!
I'm glad you're enjoying the build. Nice modifications! Having Cyclone with Fortify and Inspiration is a great idea. (We had that for 3.11.) I too am not a fan of the 8-second Enduring Cry cooldown but I like what the skill does.
Awesome job with the build!

Has anyone got to red maps with this build yet? Is it end-game viable??
Tier 14 - 16 maps are no problem for my AnnabelLee_.
There are map mods to avoid, but not too many:
- no regeneration
- less recovery rate of life
- - maximum resistance is a bit nasty, but it can be done if you're careful. Yesterday I played a tier 16 Temple of Atzoatl with -6 % to maximum resistance, death-free.
I can't tell you about Sirus, because I always skip him, with every character.
Awesome Caligula_Exile!
Glad to hear! That's a risky go with -6%. Nice job! I hate Sirus too. I can't wait until he's changed completely.

You know, that's a good question. The jewel will work well if we Golem's cast by CwDT count as us casting. If it doesn't count as us casting, then it isn't helpful.
I don't remember if CwDT still counts as us casting or not. Sorry.

I know the whole point is to be one button, but would it work to ditch the ball lighting and put in a frost blink instead? (no cwdt). I'm thinking of getting a 6l helm for RF, then have the chest be 4L/2L for frost blink and second wind support, then I free up a slot on my wand. Don't know what to put there yet.
Any ideas anyone?
Hey pocget!
If Frostblink HITS, which I think it does, that's an awesome idea. I always like Culling Strike as an extra gem option.

I used this build as a start, its a pretty good build. I'm at the point now where I don't think it's worth the investment to get more out of it. (I'm saying there are a lot of builds that will do way more damage for the same investment.) However the playstyle is definitely chill.
Cool Mouse!
Thanks for the honest feedback.

I agree. Great starter build. I have played RF before but this Elementalist has been the smoothest transition into using it, thanks largely to Stone Golem's flat life regen and Ele's golem buff effects. Feels good. Pendulum of Destruction also suits it well. Still... Chieftain is the king of RF right now.
I'm also not sure this will scale well into endgame. We are using mechanics halfway without scaling them-- Golem buffs without primordial items, endurance with only 3 max charges. I look at what Chieftains are doing with RF/Enduring Cry and like 9 max endurance charges, and I am jealous.
I might adjust it some more. Any warcry on its own without investing in cooldown/instant just... doesn't feel great. If that's your one button I would strongly recommend picking up Deep Breaths and Call to Arms. While I'm down there I thought I could scale some Armour also. My current tree looks like this. Still playing around with it, though. https://imgur.com/TjOlLvT www.poeurl.com/c2OW
I've also been running Infernal Cry instead of Enduring-- the Covered in Ash debuff helps our RF damage, and the pack-clearing explosions feel amazing.
To go a different route, getting away from the warcry... I love the different EE/inspiration trigger ideas I've seen in this thread, like Frostblink, or Cyclone & The Stampede (with cold or lightning to attacks on gloves).
Thank you SO MUCH wrecker_of_days for taking the time to create/update these guides, and for engaging with everyone in these threads. You are a cool person. I hurt my wrist so I need something easy to play, and I saw you recommend this on Reddit. I have played this game for years and I still can't come up with builds on my own. I really appreciate your philosophy here, making builds that are mechanically simple and don't rely on uniques. It's excellent for players with disabilities, or players who just want that "stress-free" experience.
I appreciate it jmdbcool!
Thank you. I'm glad you're liking the build! I agree, it's really fun to see what changes people make to builds with so much freedom. So work, some don't. But it's great to see all of them. I will hopefully have videos posted soon but I don't know when that will be.
I like your Infernal Cry addition. I strongly considered it to be the build's Warcry.
I really appreciate your kind words and encouragement! Thanks for taking the time to do so.
Thanks for the post.

This was my league starter, and it just can't melt things as fast as I thought it would.
My Gear
also using 3 clusters with Burning Bright, Widespread Destruction, Wrapped In Flame, Brewed for Potency, and Molten Ones's Mark
Hey istehwin!
Nice gear! Sorry the build doesn't meet your expectations. You've made some unique changes to the build. Just make sure you're always on the positive end of EE. Also, fully ascending helps for sure.

Disclaimer: I'm only at yellow maps, and I'm still a PoE noob.
I'm not sure if the linking of gems here fails to distinguish between corrupted gems and Vaal gems, but neither of you (istehwin and Freakynorm) seem to have the Vaal variant of Righteous Fire. The tooltip does say corrupted, but it doesn't mention its Vaal component.
So if you don't have it, Vaal RF is the way to go. That alone might be enough to make life a bit easier.
I also found my damage throughput was increased by self-casting Cold Snap (for triggering elemental equilibrium) and Flammability. Not having to wait for incoming damage to get these two off is nice.
Also if the Wave of Conviction+Purifying flame CwDT goes off, I can quickly reapply the right Elemental Equilibrium with Cold Snap.
Comment anytime you like Vistn!
Don't worry if you feel like a noob or not. That was a good post!
