[3.12] Radiating Carrion Golems. 90% resistances + 10-20 Mil DPS

What are your thoughts on the Torrent's Reclamation?
Hi,
general question about harvest crafting ( as harvest descriptions make things even worse ... ).

Example, i want to craft a large cluster jewel.
Now i use "life" modifier from the yellow thingy in this garden, hitting
"renewal" and two random other mods ( which i asumme are also from "life" group?!? ).

How can i get Rotten claws on it? Do i need to retry until my "life" yellow seeds thingy hits "renewal" and "rotten claws" together?
Or does this not work at all ( maybe rotten claws is no "life" mod!?).
Do i need to use another "color" of these stupid garden to "remove" one life mod and get maybe one of the other affixes on it?

I do not get this crafting mess :(

Yellow life seed crafting is best here and it increases the chance of hitting Renewel or can be used to add and remove life mods until you add renewal onto your existing jewel. The list of good possible mods is

- Renewal
- Flat ES
- Added Small Passive Skills have 25% increased Effect
- Rotten claws
- Attributes of any kind
- Life regen
- Chaos resistance
- Minion attack speed
- Feasting Fiends (little bit of minion life but worse then improving small nodes)


Maybe i just should try to grind currency and buy that ... as crafting system is sh** to understand ... too bad these days the drops are so low it will take forever to get enough currency together for all these jewels.

I dont know how to post here my build but i can send you the url to it. I bought a new mace and watchers eye. I can facetank all ^^ great build i can just stand in the shapers beam skill and alive after it is gone :D
I'm struggling to figure out why my numbers are so significantly lower than yours, and also seem to have tighter tolerances for my mana/life reservations. I made sure my calculations are set correctly, but still around 1/4 of what your high budget carrions POB shows. Is it just down to the differences in the particulars of my cluster jewels? I'm playing around with this build on Standard, so it's not quite as easy to harvest craft, or even buy specific clusters so I've mostly been chaos spamming trying to get something comparable. My status is mostly ok, I've cleared the atlas and can do up to around A6 Sirus but am wiping on 7/8, did all 20 waves of a simulacrum, etc but would really like to figure out what I'm missing to significantly boost my DPS.

I found it much cheaper to craft the minion clusters myself. Depending on how many crafts you have saved up, Vicious Bite/Renewal/Rotten Claw clusters can be easily crafted for less than 1ex which is much cheaper than what they current go for on trade (2ex).

I'd look on Craft of Exile to see what tags each mod has:

If you want a step by step guide:

First save up on the following on your horticraft bench to avoid spending money buying crafts:
* 'Augment' and 'Remove x, add x' crafts for life and physical modifiers
* 'Reroll with critical modifiers' crafts (need T2 blue Primal Viper Grains for this)
* Any 'Remove x' modifiers that you can get your hands on (to remove undesirable mods)

Since we are using all three notables, it doesn't matter if our jewel has 8 or 9 passives as it takes the same amount of skill points to get everything we need. So, buy an ilvl 75+ minion cluster jewel with 9 passives for around 50c:

Spam 'reroll crit'. You are guaranteed to land Vicious Bite each time. You want a jewel that has Vicious Bite and the following:
* Any prefixes that can be easily removable with 'Remove x' crafts.
* A suffix that isn't Primordial Bond, Call to Slaughter or 'Regen x% life per second'.

If you're lucky enough to land one or both of Rotten Claws and Renewal, you're already mostly done.

Use 'Remove x' to remove all prefixes that aren't Rotten Claws and Renewal. If you have a prefix that can't be removed in this fashion (e.g. % increased damage) then keep rerolling crit.

You should now have a jewel with Vicious Bite, two free prefix slots, and a suffix that isn't Primordial Bond, Call to Slaughter or 'Regen x% life per second'. Or if you got lucky with crit rerolling, a jewel with Vicious Bite, at least one of Renewal and Rotten Claws, and a suffix that isn't Primordial Bond, Call to Slaughter or 'Regen x% life per second'.

To put Renewal on, augment life. If you don't get Renewal, add/remove life until you get Renewal. If your jewel meets all the criteria I specified above, you should be able to get this in a handful of tries with zero risk of bricking your jewel.

To put Rotten Claws on, augment physical. If you don't get Rotten Claws, add/remove physical until you get Rotten Claws. If your jewel meets all the criteria I specified above, you should be able to get this in a handful of tries with zero risk of bricking your jewel.

Grats now you have your Vicious Bite/Renewal/Rotten Claws jewel.

Ok, i see, thank you very much for this information.

My main issue is that i just tried to slam T1 seeds ( i.e. light blue for medium, or life yellow for large ) on the jewels.

But it seems to be mandatory to really set up a garden for growing t2 or even t3 seeds, right?

I do not have that yet ( or any horticrafting station - no idea where to get so much lifeforce for to build one ).

For the small / medium jewels i need to craft with t2 as well i assume?
I think i will fail to find out how the interaction works what you described, what is suffix / prefix, which seeds is responsible for what and most important, in which sequence i have to do stuff.

Ok, i will think about if i do that or rather quit completely, as the harvest mechanics sucks ( for me and my understanding of what this game should be ); in general crafting is something i for some reason can not grab - despite beeing someone with sofware development background lol ...

If you want to keep things simple, you don't really need Vicious Bite. A Renewal + Rotten Claws combo should be easily achievable by just growing yellow and purple T1 seeds. Reforge with life modifier from T1 yellows should get you a Renewal in a few goes plus you may also get Feasting Fiends which is another decent notable. Then you can use T1 purples to find 'non-phys to phys', 'remove phys add phys' or 'augment phys' crafts to try and get Rotten Claws.

I'm also not a real fan of the garden managment. I never planted a T2 seed even though I know you can do really focused crafting with them.

I only used autoplant on T1 seeds and throwing random seed crafts onto your base would get you a good enough jewel eventually. Or just selling your seeds & mapping should give you enough currency to buy everything you need

Even if you end up paying 2ex instead of crafting your own with 1ex of materials you can probably earn another ex in the extra time you have mapping and not dealing with the garden if you don't want to
