Hi. Just wanted to say thanks for this easygoing build. I have been really enjoying it so far this league. Just a quick question though. What would you anoint on your amulet for this build?
You're welcome Nato4eyes! Thanks for the thanks! I'm glad you're having a good time.

Anoint? Lots of options. You can choose to improve your zombies or you. Aligned Spirits, Golem's Blood, and Gravepact come to mind.

Is there any alternative to Flesh and Stone? I could equip it but then I have so much mana reserved I can't use movement skills or offerings :/

Hey subliminaldelta! The only reason I use Flesh and Stone is because of how little mana it reserves. You can pick and choose which auras to have on until you have all of the mana nodes the default tree provides. But because there is such a small amount of mana reservation skills that reserve the same or less mana as Flesh and Stone, you options are to either have a little extra mana in your gear, use a few nodes to get mana reservation (which are close by), not use one of the auras for now, or just let your zombies do it all.

Good question.

Correct on all accounts M_atrix. It was actually a tough choice when choosing supports for that link to consider both the zombies AND the Phantasms, or just the zombies.

Thank you! Good to know. I learned something new once again ^^

And still i find it odd that phantasm support has so many hidden mechanics. It's really hard to determine which other support gems actually benefit them or have no impact at all. Hm.

Btw that bone armor on left mouse button is so excellent! I never imagined it can work so flawlessly.

Solar Guards from act 8 Solaris Temple are great. Pair them with spell echo and minion damage (if you use Spectres in a 3-link item) and you will get massive damage and clearing speed.

Early on they are the best all-around option imho.

How do these compare to Kitava Heralds? That's what I've been using. I'm new to spectres but once I got access to these my kill speed went up noticeably.

I started using Kitave Heralds last season because of their mortar attack, but I found that it really isn't that good because the damage is only done at the point of impact (They are mortars, not missiles). The Solar Guards seem to work much better.
Great build!

The only thing I would change is maybe your passive tree large cluster positioning, there is a large cluster slot with +Mana in the East Wing instead of +Elemental Damage you are using. It would benefit the build a little more, for those who follow religiously a build.

Peace !

I prefer Kitave Heralds just because they offer good AOE and it's pure physical damage.

- You only need to focus on maps with Phys Reflect
- Helps with your lack of AOE
- Great with Large Cluster Jewel that gives Impale for minions, etc.
- Badass :)
Another question(s):

About Maim and Flesh and Stone.

1. Don't maim and flesh and stone cancel each other out? I've read somewhere that only 1 maim instance is possible and they don't stack. Or this is not true?

2. Flesh and Stone radius is very small, so if I let the skeletons and other minions do their job from far away - flesh and stone is basically useless for me? So in order to benefit from this aura I have to sit on monsters and bosses?

Thank you in advance. :)

Thanks Raigalia! Ya, that was a hard choice. Those nodes are more beneficial for sure, but they cost the extra passive node putting the tree to level 91. It also puts the Jewel Cluster at the opposite end of the very important mana reservation cluster leaving the Jewel Cluster for late-game only. I've been back and forth with your suggestion lots since I've posted the guide. You have good eyes.

Thanks for the suggestion! If you have more, please send them along!

Hey M_atrix! You are correct, enemies can only be maimed once. It does not stack. We link Maim Support to Flesh and Stone because enemies that are maimed by linked skills (like Flesh and Stone) take increased physical damage. So Flesh and Stone makes enemies take 16% increased physical damage while Maim Support makes those same enemies take another 14% increased physical damage.

Unfortunately, yes, Flesh and Stone seems to be pretty small. But it couples well with Meat Shield which keeps your zombies and phantasms close to you. It seems more dangerous but Meat Shield also taunts enemies. So you really only have to lookout for AoE's.

Ask as much as you like! I hope these helped.
