[3.13]🏹 Poison Barrage-VF / Scourge Arrow / TR PF | Bottled Fortify | The Tankiest Ranger + High DPS
Understood about grace, was really trying to understand how many auras could fit!
Took me 6 tries to get this, using aberrant + corroded + metallic, but I think that was pretty lucky. |

whiteyfang,
Your new gears look good. Stormcharger is good at lowering the target's shock threshold so that we can apply more shock damage. It is a nice addition to the starter build, but it's not mandatory. Alternatively, I am also trying Duskblight, recommended to me by Yugo_1223. What I like about Duskblight is that it gives flat chaos damage and a whooping +50% chaos resist under flask effect which should be perma. The volatile dead with chaos damage is also helping a bit in the clearing department. " I also took a glance at your gears. Good job on that. I would suggest that you grab an Enduring mana flask. It helps you regen mana even at full mana so that you can channel 5-stage SA without getting mana-blocked. Cluster jewel: I would personally recommend a medium flask cluster + small cluster (enduring composure) before you can field a full-fledge cluster jewels as in our end-game PoB. You can also take a look at my previous comment on what notable and how to craft the medium flask cluster. Regarding your gaming frozen anecdotes, I also experienced the same thing occasionally. It could be a potential bug of Vulkan or something. Would definitely monitor the bug section in the forum. Another thing to watch out for in red map is stun lock. That's how Cinderswallow with stun avoidance can help. You'd probably already respec from Iron Reflexes to Acro/phase acro + Wind Dancer at this point. If I have more time, I'd take a closer look at your PoB. But I'm currently tied up with something else. But with the given info above, I hope it would be useful for you to move forward to the end game without issue. Nice craft! Thanks for being an inspiration to all of us, reinaldo110.
In the early game, Witchfire Brew is a good option for Despair effect. +(30-40)% increase DoT is also nice to have. However, in the end-game you would expect over 800% increased poison DoT. So, Witchfire Brew becomes an opportunity-cost burden compared to other flasks we can have, either offensively or defensively. In addition, I don't personally like curse aura for SA because the limited AoE and the non-100% uptime. Since we let the poison do the job while we run, sometimes it's kind of not optimal having to stand near the boss before we shoot SA so that the curse takes effect. You would want to be able to poison with despair wherever you are. In addition, even you are Pathfinder, you will not have 100% Witchfire's curse aura uptime because it's practically only 70-80% uptime. Under the intense heat of an end-game bossfight, you may not even reach 50% uptime because of potentially panic flask slamming. Curse on hit, on the other hand, is on-hit effect, i.e. 100% uptime. DunkenDeezNutz and whiteyfang already addressed your Grace question. :) " Poison Scourge Arrow/Toxic Rain + Blast Rain PF| Bottled Fortify: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2851574 -- Editado por útlima vez por WolfieNa#3904 en 24 jun. 2020 1:45:47

Much appreciated Wolfie
Yes, I'll respec to acrobatics when I start red maps. For now, I'll try dusk blight, looks interesting. And meanwhile I'll also get those flask cluster jewels ready. |
|
One more thing, you could respec King of the Hill branch and spec into Grow and Decay for potentially better DPS + survivability. SA doesn't receive much juice from crit.
You could also respec Method to the Madness after you grab Duskblight. Weathered Hunter should be your next target. Build has really come together now. Since yesterday, following upgrades were obtained:
I also spent 2 ex and bought a Scourge Arrow enchanted helm on which I will craft (once I get together some fossils and resonators). Build is coming together nicely! Able to one shot packs in t16s now with not even max stacks. Enlighten gem leveled up to 2, so now I'm able to run auras without Charisma cluster, though mana is veeeery tight. Once it goes to 3, it's just gonna be awesome. Current PoB: https://pastebin.com/bBxJJ4EN |

hi guys
trying to calculate the difference of Death Opus vs Voltaxic for my char Voltaxic it's always giving higher dps, however it seems POB does not take into account the extra 2 arrows for Death Opus - which I assume is the reason why we take that bow into account how can i properly factor in the two extra arrows in the DPS calc for scourge arrow ? |
|
Extra arrows only helps focus the spread of the pods better. The actual damage from the hit of extra SA arrow is negligible.
As for Voltaxic, can't speak to that but if it's giving you more DPS even with single arrow, use that probably. |
|
" Ok so I respec King of the Hill and Method to Madness. Using Duskblight now. And managed to snipe a flask cluster jewel with the mods you linked last page. And also added Enduring composure small jewel to it. With Jade flask, I hit about 24K armor with 66% phys dmg reduction. After few levels I will respec Iron Reflexes and go full evasion. |
|
" If you have done uber lab, you should try Voltaxic. With some added chaos dmg to rings/amulets and Duskblight boots, you will do much more dmg than Death Opus. The only thing good about Death Opus is +2 arrows which are helpful against bosses (since the pods are spread out and many small arrows hit the boss that way) |
