[3.12] [Build Showcase] Hollow Palm Cyclone Slayer | 7k life | 87m DPS | MIN-MAX PUSH TO LIMIT!

Changelog:
Spoiler

[19/9/2020] PoB link updated to latest version, nothing change AFAIK. Gotten equipments from Harvest league and damage has been improved a lot to serve as endgame equipment guideline.
Remove old PoB link that is no longer viable.
[23/7/2020] PoB link updated to latest version, alot of nodes have been fixed, losing quite a lot DPS, from ~90m to ~76m.
[20/6/2020] Updated to 3.11 Cluster Jewel/Passive Tree, added Budget version of Slayer and Gladiator
Spoiler

- Both with Deep Cut and non-Deep Cut, Deep Cut changed to Smite the Weak
- No affect on Split Personality because my build only use 2 in the first place
- Hex Breaker has became useless, so it has been changed to Aura's cluster wheel, damage improved slightly
- Maximum Life nerf'd slightly due to new passive tree
- Due to removal of Stun immunity and I'm not getting stun avoidance, you have to adapt to the playstyle of other melee skill but still being able to move is still an advantage
- Budget version still able to hit 5.5k life as well as 15m+ DPS
- Adjusted the budget version to help out fellow Gladiator player

[10/05/2020] Gotten a Tailwind boots, pushing DPS to limit at 5.6k life and 101m DPS, this is a separate version due to lower life. See PoB section for more info.
[09/05/2020] Convert from Gladiator to Slayer and min-max pushing DPS to limit. Main change was losing block and spell block and gained ~200 life and almost double DPS.
Old Gladiator version still available in PoB section

Introduction:
Spoiler
I am someone who love physical and unarmed build but due to the lack of interaction, there hasn't been any build enabler mechanic since Facebreaker and Doryani's Fist. However, in 3.10 a new interaction with unarmed has been teased and when I first saw it, my mind instantly tells me this will definitely be my starter and go-to build throughout the league.

Disclaimer:
Spoiler
This is a build showcase and not a buide guide but I am willing to help out fellow Hollow Palm player if you have any questions.
That is also not theory-craft build, you can see my character in my profile.
As this is min-maxing, the gears are pretty expensive, be warned.
Not focusing on Chaos resist, still not as important in current version.

I am also welcome any critic about my build.

Note : Some videos were old Gladiator build, will update to Slayer's soon.

Pros and Cons:
Spoiler

Pros:
+ Insane 87.3m DPS with 10 seconds uptime at Lv100
(not possible on Sirus because can't trigger on-kill effect)
+ 7k life, up to today standard at Lv100
+ no need fancy pathing for Split Personality
+ Bleed and reflection immunity
+ All contents (see boss fight)
+ Due to insane DPS, able to skip certain boss phase/skill

Cons:
- Not beginner friendly
- Extremely expensive
- IMO, medium mapping speed even with QuickSilver Flask
- Negative Chaos resistance
- Life leech is the only survival ability

Path of Building(Fork):
Spoiler

[3.12 League]
Lv100 tree (7012 life and 31m DPS!)
Cyclone DPS with 100% uptime buffs
https://pastebin.com/1MK5u3p6

[Standard - with Deep Cut]
Lv100 tree (6994 life and 87.3m DPS!)
87.3m Cyclone DPS, fully buffed, can last about 10 seconds
https://pastebin.com/VRhSVcJp
36.8m Cyclone DPS with 100% uptime buffs
https://pastebin.com/SHsbr5Rm

Ascendancy:
Spoiler

Slayer Just because it is strongest among 3 duelist ascendancy.
Survival ability is only leech, didn't pick Vaal Pact because regeneration is extremely useful when bosses went into invulnerable phase and no monsters to be killed.

However, balanced ascendancy would probably be Gladiator as it has movement speed and capped block/spell block, it also able to blind enemies thus further increased survival ability
(see my PoB section for Gladiator version)

Bandit & Pantheon:
Spoiler
Bandit: Kill All, this build is hungry for point!
Pantheon: Arakaali and Shakari, one of sources for small Chaos resistance
Note: Although Sirus deals Chaos damage but they can be easily dodged, A8 Sirus is either die or dodge, regular build cannot actually survive. GIT GUD!

Gears & Links:
Spoiler

Explanation:

Blood and Sand effect or Cyclone attack speed?
I took Blood and Sand for slightly higher DPS at ~1% more in blood stance or another 1 radius for mapping in sand stance.
This is the ideal mods for the helmet already, nothing is better AFAIK.
(*still working on Helmet enchantment*)

In term of damage, the ideal mod to replace %attributes would be Frenzy Charge on hit, this is gonna be a huge damage for boss such as Sirus where you can never trigger any on kill effect for Blood rage to generate Frenzy Charge.

This is possibly the best mod combo for belt
resistance mod is there because I have taken "Nearby enemies takes increased physical damage", if you can't get this mod on helmet, then the last mod can be anything you like.
Alternative, Cyclopean Belt, nothing beats it unless you have the stats of my belt.

Best in slot unless you want more damage instead of life, such as "gained phys as ele damage" or you have a way to trigger Tailwind reliably
Having +2 level is just a plus, it give me about ~1% more damage.

Best in Slot!
Alternative would be Astramentis if you're on budget, nothing beats it unless you have my amulet =)
Tenacity as anointment, not only it provide Life and you can get as much damage as other node with Transfiguration of Body.

Elreon mod here is one of the core mod for this build, this mod allows you to get better mods from Body Armour by replacing the -15mana with %Aura effects. Although it doesn't look much different but 25% aura effect give me a ~9% increased in DPS.
Other mods are just filler slot to cap resistances at all times, unless you use Bismuth flask to fill up your resistances. I am a lazy guy for pressing flask, so I just fill this ring with resistances.

With last cold resistances here, I am capping all elemental resistances, so this slot goes to all damage mod.
Ideally I would love to get 1 socket implicit for Enduring Cry for slightly better survival ability but I can't make the perfect mods combo here, so I'll just stick with this.

One of the best timeless jewel I ever found seed number 5028, it gives 20% dex and 20 flat dex
This is perfect combo for Hollow Palm build on those dual wielding nodes.
5% dexterity at Weapon Artistry, Herbalism, Survivalist and Gemini.
20 flat dex at Aspect of Lynx.
If you played Ice Crash, you also can benefit from Flash Freeze for 5% phys as cold damage.
If you ever stumbled upon it, just grab it if you can afford. I believe it is very rare.
Jewel stats (video):
https://youtu.be/SecBb9DxUFw

In term of dexterity, it better than regular damage jewel, it currently give me 51 DEX and INT. Intelligence is needed so that I can use Lv21 Infused Channeling support.

Another jewel solely for DPS and Life, got 5 STR instead of 5 Life because STR gave both life and damage, I believe I have more than enough life even without 5 life.
For comparing purpose, if you gotte 5 life instead of STR, you only get about ~50 life but losing 1.3% total DPS. IMO, not worth it.

Beside Cluster jewel, Pride's Watcher eye is the strongest jewel you can ever get for any pure physical build. For 2 mods Watcher eye, this combination is strongest.

Probably not ideal since this is not instant recovery, but for my playstyle "git gud or die", I just get this so that I can recover more.
Might not be ideal to have Freeze immune in recovery flask but I don't see much chance to get frozen out there, and a sip is more than enough to remove Frozen.

WHY CRITICAL FLASK?!
To answer that, as I have mentioned this build is pushing the DPS to limit on bosses, so these flasks are to further boosting my DPS as much as possible
(Just swap for QuickSilver for mapping)

Since I don't need bleed immune and not really needed ignite/shock immune, I just get as much damage as possible.

FAQs:
Spoiler
Q: If you have 4 auras(98% mana reserved), how do you have enough mana to use Lv20 skills(16 mana) such as Blood Rage and Dash?
A: For my build, having at least 800 mana will leave you at 16 mana which is just enough to use Lv20 skills.
*If you want to use Lv21 skills(17 mana), you will need to have at least 850 mana
Or just simply 2% reduced mana reserved

You best bet is probably buying from this guy https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2809294

When I first stumbled upon his thread, I offer him a high price and he isn't selling.

I bought mine only at 2ex because seller doesn't know this jewel value.

I wouldn't advice on rolling it yourself, it just not worth it unless you have super luck.

Another way is wait until league end, go Standard someone selling it at 2ex also.

Yes I have enough mana to reserve aura and enough mana to cast supportive and movement skill. You can see my PoB.

FYI, the 1% reduced mana reserved doesn't actually do anything.
Thanks for the answer
Do you think I can make this build work with a Head Hunter? The belt looks important but so Far I managed to squeeze in everything important.

Also someone already asked you but your reply wasnnt actually sayin much
So I apologize but I will ask you again: How do you manage to run 4 Auras and still have enough mana for Dash and Rage? I tried alot and I am still missing 2 mana for rage.
Is that barrier broken by level or some piece of gear? Jewel?
Thank you for your time.

As you can see I have a total of 98% mana reserved and I have 801 mana in total.

801 * 0.02 = 16 mana, just have enough for Lv20 skills.

So you have to get at least 801 mana in total.

Pros and Cons:
Spoiler
Well, there is nothing much to say as it is the same things as every other physical Gladiator Cyclone build have.
But, one thing for sure, there is no need fancy pathing for Split Personality, mine is pretty straightforward!

Path of Building(Fork):
Spoiler

Lv 100 tree:
Last tree points going to "Trickery" and "Channelling Attack Damage and Speed"
Will be sitting at 6356 life and 44.1m DPS!
https://pastebin.com/YheFnHNz

Current Lv97 tree:
41.6m Cyclone DPS, fully buffed, can last at least 10 seconds
https://pastebin.com/dGBp8LjU
19.3m Cyclone DPS with buffs that can last forever
https://pastebin.com/HfrjMv7h

Note: you will need Rumi's Concoction to cap your block, I only use it in a boss fight

Ascendancy:
Spoiler

IMO, Gladiator because it is balanced among 3 ascendancies.
Versatile Combatant is a cheap and best survival skill for a socket hungry build.
Arena Challenger because it give massive attack speed as well as movement speed, movement speed is also important for you to attack while moving around to dodge big skill as you are being slowed by Cyclone.
Violet Retaliation vs Blood in the eyes:
Damage-vise, it is almost identical but you don't want to risk yourself to ALWAYS get hit for the damage boost.
Defense-vise, in Blood Stance I prefer Blind against 4% max block. Blind is straight up 50% lessen target accuracy VS 4%, no matter how you see it, Blind is just so much better.

Both Champion and Slayer probably has better damage but I prefer to have utilities such as Versatile Combatant and Arena Challenger.

Explanation:

Blood and Sand effect or Cyclone attack speed?
I'd go Blood and Sand for slightly higher DPS at ~1% more. And another 1 radius for mapping LOL.
My ideal mods for this slot is to have Nearby enemies take increased physical damage, and move one of the resistances to my ring to replace the can have 3 mods.

-15 mana cost is the best mod for pretty much any Cyclone build, it is even better than T1 flat Dexterity.
The reason being you can get two crafted 20% increased damage instead of channel skill -3 mana cost and anoints Master of Force instead of Lucidity, the damage far outweigh T1 Dexterity.
Everything else are just luxury to have and fill in the resistances.
Note: Alternatively, Elreon mod is an option but good combination isn't easy to get.

Finally gotten this belt, furthermore a Stygian Vise!
Pairing this belt with jewel, it give me a whooping flat 112 Dex!
Although the mana isn't ideal but at least it let me have enough mana for Lv20 supportive skill and movement skill.
Alternative, Cyclopean Belt, nothing beat it unless you have the stats of my belt.

Best in slot unless you want more damage instead of life, such as "gained phys as ele damage" or you have a way to trigger Tailwind.
Although having +2 level doesn't affect Pride, but it will increased Dread Banner's aura effectiveness, though it only give me 1% more damage.

Most expensive item in this build... but IMO, worth it for the DPS!!
Alternative would be Astramentis if you on budget, nothing can beat it unless you have my amulet =)
Anointment as explained in Helmet slot.
BTW, doing mirror service for this amulet!
Fee 40ex. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2844589

Pretty much a filler slot to cap resistances at all times, unless you use Bismuth flask to fill up your resistances. I am a lazy guy for pressing flask, so I just fill it with resistances.

Since I am capping resistances, so this slot goes to all damage mod, and as explained at Helmet part, would be great if I can replaced the multimod for resistances in my helmet.
Ideally I would love to get 1 socket implicit as well but I can find the perfect combo here.

One of the best timeless jewel I ever found seed number 5028, it gives 20% dex and 20 flat dex

Beside Cluster jewel, Pride's Watcher eye is the strongest jewel you can ever get for any pure physical build.
