I love the chaos explosions, especially with the reduced chaos resistance from the ascendancy.
Is there a down side to having vortex on the lift mouse button? Any suggestions to increase movement speed when Elusive is not on? |

" I have been using "Freedom of Movement" anoint on my amulet to zoom through maps while farming harvest. Its grown on me and is really nice for mapping. You loose a lot dps compared to Tranquility anoint so don't swap anoints if you have Tranquility already. I am thinking about using two amulet setups this league for end game. I've already got a zoomy 95 Pathfinder farming T16 content, but I'm looking for a tanky/mistake-forgiving bosser. Is this it? If so, what kinda budget do I need to prepare to reliably take down all the endgame boss content? I'm not necessarily trying to race kills with DPS, just wanna be safe and steady.

Pantheons
Some have ask me about my choice of Pantheons in pm. Make sure you are upgrading your pantheons too. They have nice defensive bonuses 1. Soul of Lunaris, Projectiles are the only real downside of Occultist and 10% chance to avoid them and 100% avoid projectiles that chain are huge plus and you get movement speed :) 2. " Since there is a lot of newer people coming to this thread and I have been playing vortex for a year. The word TANKY keeps getting asked. TANKY EXPLAINED 1. Vortex is a great boss killer and can feel very Tanky with ES sustain. 2. When some of us say tanky we mean, High ES pool, good ES sustain and easy to stay out of range of boss mechanics while still doing dmg with vortex dot. 3. This build can be one shot by every end game boss mechanic and is not forgiving for players who don't dodge or don't know boss fights. This isn't a Jugg who can take massive hits. " Greatly appreciate the feedback! For whatever is considered a high ES pool (10k I guess?) and good ES sustain, could you estimate/ballpark a currency amount to build around level 90? Running around on my 4.9k pathfinder who relies on flask spam doesn't feel as steady as I'd like. :) |

8k ES is a good number. 10k you can take one big hit and push the what I call "OH Shit button" (Vaal Discipline) to regen your ES almost instantly.
This build still replies on flask spam unfortunately. Cinderswallow keeps you from using mana flask so it needs to be up most of the time. As far as currency for level 90.
