You need oils, which were introduced in the Blight league. Oils drop in blighted maps and you need to see sister Cassia to apply the recipe to the amulet. It's guaranteed to be applied - the only RNG piece is what oils drop in what maps.

I have crafted this Staff.

It seems to work pretty well.

Other good alternatives would be a +1 socketed gems with:
a) socketed gems supported by level 1 fortify
b) socketed gems supported by level 10 Onslaught
c) socketed skills deal #% more Attack Damage

They would be your best bet.

Overall this feels like MUCH more DPS scaled with Withering Touch, Despair, and Withering Step... you just run through monsters and they go "poof!" You can really see the DOT scale up on bosses.

BUT.... it's more micromanage. Because as soon as you use a skill Withering Step stops.. so it gets tricky using other skills, using Convocation, cycloning etc.

.... and our defences are weaker because of no Shaper's Touch.

But it's a COOL SETUP if you like that style!!

Use Minion damage instead of Brutality. You'll get an extra 20% more damage

It may be time to upgrade your weapon.

You could also use something offensive rather than discipline if you feel defences are ok.

are those regular rolled mods on staffs?

The one I'm using is a Temple base drop from Alva.

A and B are base crafts on an elder mace/sword.

C is a serrated fossil craft.
