The damage of Mon'tregul's Grasp is nothing compared to a crafted 2H mace/staff.
Personally in PoB, im getting half the damage of a crafted 2H weapon per zombie, and 50% less zombie cause of the mod on Mon'tregul's Grasp....

The only benefit of Mon'tregul's Grasp is that you can use a shield, so it's easier to cap resistances, get strength, etc. but for ultimate endgame experience, you'll want to have a crafted 2H mace/staff cause it's just too good.

It doesn't matter for this build. Names only affect keystones (we don't pick any) and they also roll randomly when divining.
