[3.26] The Warbringer Slaming Serker [League Starter | Cheap | Smash the Atlas | MELEE BUFFED]

If i'm running Axe version what gems should i use? Multistrike feels nice with axe so currently i'm using Ground Slam + Multistrike + Brutality + Ruthless + Melee Physical Damage and i'm looking for last gem.

I just reached maps and I have been using the Witchwood notable that makes battle crys loot corpses and open chests for the whole campaign.
So far, I would say it's not bad, not great, but probably not worth running one less charm.
Opinions?

Attack speed on gloves and even jewels helps out a lot, rage should give you enough to be fine against most enemies but supplementing it with equipment is a godsend. Check out my character as an example

Hey,

I just did the third lab but my main problem is that the attack speed is way to low so sometime, I'm just running because I don't have the time to attack....

The damage is present but not the AS.

Any tips ? Maybe something I do wrong ?

attack speed is the bigglest single bottle neck for this build to "feel" amazing and your slams to become near instant

get attack speed jewels, attack speed on rings and gloves, attack speed via rite of ruin triple AND you can unslot pulverize and melee phys (with their less attack) for other supports (like fort or shockwave) that dont slow AS

close combat is the premier axe gem

It just feels a bit sad that this is basically the most use any build will ever get out of it, and it's still mediocre at best. I guess it would be nice if you ran blight, but I don't enjoy blight.

Very general question: This is the first time I am doing a "starter" build.
This will also be great for the required lab farming.

Usually I would go for a starter build that has a strong transition on the same build/ascendancy/base class, but I'm afraid this is out of the question here, since Marauder doesn't seem to have any very late game spec going that seems interesting enough to me. What's everyone's transition plan?
I use this build to get all my voidstones and farm a base of t16 map of choice (burials this league), then reroll into a speed mapper

serker can excell at any attack build, so even meta stuff like lightning arrow is viable
Going LA with Zerker sounds like spending 20+ points just to get to the right side of the tree, what are the advantages?
the usual berserker things

access to max res stacking on crystal/primastic skin and nodes away from soul of steel + armour/evasion hybrid pieces for max res armour/supress since you are near bottom left and bottom right

berserker can use any warcry to gen rage, and with some node investment (close to marauder) you can get perma berserk without losing glove slot for kaoms (which just got nerfed)

blitz charges are very very fun since hitting things fast is dopamine, its sort of like the old crucible mod but without the less dmg. and ofc rite of ruin/aspect of carnage is free big dmg regardless of how much investment you have

defy pain is also pretty interesting, it lets you build some very strong mapping/general tanky serker if you find ways to mitigate the reflect

if you prefer deadeye version, or even champ version for more tank, they are all strong in their aspects

Can't we do this with a single charm from the Primalist that says you cannot take reflected physical damage?
