About the life flask, Is an increased amount+remove mana good? (shorter duration but more recovery rate)


you want the longer duration (reduced recovery rate) because otherwise you'll have to reapply your life flask more often and believe me, it will drive you crazy. It would also be an issue with how much flask charges recovery you need

it changed recently, you either use master fletcher and a +1 arrow quiver, or you use Rain of Splinter (unique jewel), deathbeam started using the later two days ago

Why do you need three arrows? Isn't two good enough to create the V? Is it die to frenzy?

Well that mostly only applies to self cast, for ballistas just 2 isnt the best as they either do 2 lines very close to eachother e.g making the pod spread bad or they can miss primary arrow depending on their position relative to boss. I tested 2 and 3 and 3 feels significantly better and more consistent for DPS.

I noticed you are using anom SA, but don't see a new source of proj speed. Do we not need default SA qual proj speed for returns?
Hey deathbeam, i'd like to add Hardened Scars to my stranglegasp setup but there isn't much more room to add anything, i think i can get Whisper of Doom with an expensive Impossible Escape, which would allow me to slot in hardened scars but i don't have this kind of currency to spend atm

do you think there are better alternatives ? 25% less damage over time would be incredible especially with the unique boots and the anomalous petrified blood that you are using

edit: it pains me but I guess i shouldn't be greedy and lose a frenzy charge to add Hardened scars, that'd probably be the best option but i don't want to do it lol :c

for most uses, normal SA is better to use because you do'nt have to worry about proj speed much, in a min maxing scenario, if you get another source of proj speed you can use another quality type for SA but it's very low in your priority list

Yea I would just replace the extra frenzy. I thought about Hardened as well but my recovery is aleady very high so not sure if its needed. And it do not affects petrified blood because petrified is life loss not dot.

lol i hate it, and it means it doesn't work with progenesis too,
at least it helps with the boots, burning grounds, desecrated grounds and various degen puddles from bosses, it's alright but i'm not sure if that's worth the hassle.

it's probably good enough mid-build, but once you get progenesis and keep going deeper in the high budget version it steadily loses value
