[3.25] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, tanky, fun to play

can anyone explain to me how you actually play SA? are we supposed to always charge to 5 or is 1 enought with better gear?

i abandoned this build as my starter because i was getting cramps in my fingers from always channelling it to 5 stacks.

No, outside of bosses you are not supposed to charge for more than 1 stack, and for mapping, most of the time after changes you are just running around with Plaguebearer. (you can also kind of see that from my gameplay videos).

Some thoughts after playing this build as Assassin to 97:

1. damage is great as assassin, was able to do uber elder on day 3 with a lioneyes
2. I don't feel like I need the prolif as scourge arrow, if you look at ninja, more than 75% of scourge arrow players are ele and they have no prolif and they clear just fine
3. Defenses are amazing as assassin, I have 60-75% dodge/spelldodge constantly, and I am crit immune.
4. Obviously drawback is lack of flask recharge, but at my gear level bosses die in 1 flask rotation and UE is super smooth so it is fine, but at low gear levels PF might be the better bosser.

Had a lot of fun crafting my gear this league, some highlights:

showed it here before, was trying to hit VP, but failed after 10 ex worth of fossils

failed to hit 1.5% crit, but cant reroll the triple l1 life...

you can craft frenzy charge on crit on quivers (from syndicate unveal) as suffix, so just find a life/attack speeed quiver, the crit multi is as good as ailment damage for assassin

Well, elemental versions have Herald of Ice, but fair. Otherwise it sounds like you had very good success with Assassin version, so that is very nice. I was a bit worried that not having prolif will hurt too much. I would personally still incorporate at least corpse explosions tho.

Oh and that gear is pretty sick, damn (mainly the body).

So what do you think about slotting the Vaal jewel on pain attunement instead of perfect agony to keep method to the madness not corrupted?

I tested it in PoB and yeah that is probably more optimal. I am still unsure about the Iron Reflexes + Divine Flesh hybrid to be honest, because its just stretching way too much (for both points and gear).

The despair mod is not even important, so I wouldnt bother. Just craft Chaos Damage Over Time Multiplier from bench on it and its done.

think this one is good enough to just put the chaos damage over time craft on and be done? (i dont have the craft unlocked yet though, just did %phys for now). I was using a Chin Sol before this so it way better than that atleast

Also side note. did my first blighted map on this character. just a T3, but holy shit SA can rock that pretty easily. didnt loose a single point of health on pump

Sure, it looks pretty good to me (you can also always just check in pob, but imo any bow with delve mod, flat chaos, some other positive mod and open prefix is good enough for everything).

And yeah, poison prolif is carrying blighted maps hard.

Updated my gear a bit. after runnin a bit decided to drop divine flesh for now. felt more tanky as just iron reflexes. But i wanted an opinion. Starting to amass some wealth so was wondering if going darkscorn divine flesh feels really worth or would it b better just sittin as is. Thanks! Love the build. Wish the league wasnt as borin but meh.

Yeah I was thinking about the hybrid iron reflexes + divine flesh tree and I think I am going to drop it, not sure if its that good idea (mostly because its using way too much points, and Soul of Steel annointed with Iron Reflexes is probably way easier to gear).

Glad you like the build tho. I am playing Iron Reflexes version atm too and its pretty fun.

I personally like darkscorn+divine flesh, mapping feels much more safe with those when running t16 maps. Also uber elder is very easy/safe with this build, run circles and win. Ty for the build, was good time playing :)

having a good time on HC with the build, can someone give some tip on gear upgrade priority? Also, what about use "The Vigil" jewel and vigilant strike on a secondary weapon to proc fortify? (crafted that body with one try, i'm pretty happy lol)
