Only 11ex for the 21/23 infused Chanelling :)

but it brings down the effect from 0.6 to 0.4

Yeah, Infused is one of the more expensive supports (mostly because getting levels and quality on it is so strong and great QoL) :d But again, if you dont mind losing 10% less chaos damage taken, then difference between unbound ailments dps and infused channeling with infusion active is almost none.

Small build update:

Decided to add end-game optimization section to main post for people who do not know what to upgrade (or aim for) next. It's under spoiler in Leveling and gearing section.

Great guide/build! I'm having fun with scourge arrow and it's the first time I made a ranger/bow-skill character.
Thank you for the guide, leveling this now and it is lots of fun... I think I am going to stick with Toxic Rain for a while and see how it fairs in mapping.

One cool thing I discovered, not sure if me as noob thinks this is great or if it might help someone else while leveling. Put on the "Lioneye's Paws" Boots and put in "Curse on Hit" with "Despair" or with "Assassin's Mark" (if you have mana issues) - this will basically autocurse any mob you hit with anything due to the autocast of the Rain of Arrows :)

This gimps the build late game because you need that room for life+res

Glad you like the build, it always nice to hear that from people :)

Toxic Rain is definitely decent, but from my testing, its way worse than SA while cleaning legions, but single target feels more umm, consistent, and also its quite decent in delve. But, if you want something smoother than SA, I can only reccomend trying tornado shot, it was a lot of fun, and decent damage.

For the Lioneye's Paws, yeah, its bad end-game choice, but for leveling and early in character, they are really good, cursing everything with despair noticeably improves clear.

That also reminds me, added Embalmer's with Despair on hit corruption to end-game optimization section (as I mentioned above, it improves clear speed by quite a lot):

What would you then recommend to replace the frenzy gem setup with then?

Nothing, the frenzy gem setup with CoH still stays, this is purely mapping optimization, you still want high level despair with quality for bosses (and as its higher level, it will override low level on hit curse from emablmer's).

That is why I wrote for leveling only... once you reach endgame for mapping and delving, of course you replace the Lioneyes Paws :)

Another question is arising now in terms of life leech... how do you handle that? Blood Rage is degenerating my life quickly, and damage spikes do the rest... the leech is not enough due to basically not doing lots of physical damage... do you just compensate with life flask? Or am I doing something wrong :)

Yeah, life flask + cinderswallow + HP regen. With just the regen from tree and malevolence watchers you should be able to out-regen Blood Rage.
