Could anyone help out a fellow noob and please tell me if this belt is decent (as in good for levelling/beginning of maps) and if the change to stygian one is really needed? Thanks )

Its decent for survivability but you are losing despair what is pretty big. But as long as you feel like you are not missing damage its fine.

Oh crap, you mean I can't have both despair and poachers mark on targets? I was told that since it's a curse from an item - it worked with despair.

I'm struggling with manual cast despair during combat (I just forget about it), don't tell me the learning curve was for nothing? :))

Hi there,

i am a bit confuse between the original guide and some players who are posting their stuff ..

Are we going with Unbound Ailments or Vile toxin ?
if you can help me, thanks !

Unbound Ailments is more DPS in longer fights, Vile Toxins is more immediate damage (as it has higher multi but no duration).

Hunter quiver, boots and body are the big ones. Quiver has chaos multi and max chaos res, boots have faster poisons, body has phys damage taken as chaos. Influence on other items is not that impactful (well, you can make pretty sick hunter bow, but that is probably expensive)

Any thoughts about replacing mirage archer with vicious proj?

I finished the build and ended up with the following setup.
T16 metamorphs and bosses just melt. Shaper, Elder, Uber Elder, Sirus on lvl8 - all done with not that many troubles.

The only time I struggle was against Minotaur.
Perfect combination of speed and damage after some moderate investment.

If it doesn't say it bypasses your curse limit then it will overwrite despair unless you have a second curse allowed.

Example of an item that says it bypasses your curse limit: https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Sentari%27s_Answer

I was quite lucky when slaming a Hunter's exalt on an assassin's garb.

With this body armour I could face tank Sirus' "Die" triple beams, at 6.4k life. It's amazing.

Could anyone tell me what would be the best gem to link with Withering Step - Plague Bearer - Increased AoE Support? (I already got despair on hit implicit on my glove, so I don't need Despair.) I am currently using Empower, but it looks that the higher levels of Withering Step and Plague Bearer does not improve much after lvl 21.

Besides, I am also wondering the gem links of the Siege Ballista: I didn't take Watchtowers node on my talent tree, and I don't need the damage from ballistas (only need them to stack wither debuff). What are the best options to replace the Added Chaos Damage Support and Deadly Ailments support? I am considering choosing two from the following: Blind Support, Greater Multiple Projectiles Support, Culling Strike Support and Faster Attack Support, Multiple Totem Support.

Multiple Totems of course!
Why would path of builds have my damage higher with drillneck

instead of this poison quiver? I thought this type of yellow quiver was a late game go-to over drillneck

Had a question about the skill investment for the wheel with the "watchtowers" talent. Is it really worth taking? Arent there other options that would give us more chaos/poison dmg? Just doesnt look that effective to me? :O
