[3.7] Hybrid's 100% Life Leech Recovery Rate Slayer Cyclone Starforge Pure Phyz
Videos:
Spoiler
Played some variations of this build and eventually decided to make a guide for my own take on "slayer cyclone". mainly focusing on leech recovery in conjunction with slayer's overleech without compromising on damage and utility. what is so special about this build? the build achieves 100% life leech recovery rate! by default, your life leech is capped at 20% of your maximum life. but we use recovery mods on the tree and gear to increase the cap. from gear we get: elder mods on belts and amulets for 20% and 25% increase respectively. vitality mod on watchers eye for another 30%. from the tree we pick: Vitality Void, Hematophagy plus the adjacent nodes near it and ofcourse Vaal Pact. as a result, our leech rate is 100% of our HP rating! :D which allows us to recover really quick even from very big hits. ok let me show you how to do it yourself ;) Gear:

Weapon: really high pDPS sword. also functions as our 6L. Helmet: i use devotos for the attack and movement speed. you can use a stakojas or any rare helmet with life and resists. Gloves: a rare pair with life and resists. if you are using a rare helmet, you might want to use tombfists for the intimidation debuff with the correct jewel. Boots: Life and resists. you want a good roll for movement speed so the build will fell smoother. Amulet: the elder mod is the most important roll here. get life and any other mod you need like stats and resists. (didnt multimod mine yet :\) Rings: life, resists and stats. you also want to get some accuracy to save you an aura. -mana cost is really nice for QoL. Belt: you are looking for the "% increased life recovery rate" elder mod. then get life and anything else you need. Jewels: you want the vitality's life recovery rate mod. dont get confused with the flask life mod! rest of my jewels are just attack speed, life and stats\res. Flasks: i never actually use my life flask. silver flask for the onslaught buff (20% attack and movement speed). quicksilver flask for alot of movement speed. lion's roar is a very big dps boost, kind of a must here. sulphur for increased damage. Main 6L: Cyclone - Infused Channeling - Melee Physical Damage - Fortify - Brutality - Impale you can use Pulverised to get bigger AoE while mapping. Auras: Enlighten - Pride - Vitality - Dread Banner \ Blood and Sand. war banner and B%S both reserve 10% mana so just pick one for the 4L enlighten setup and throw the other one in a free socket. DPS Boosters: Blood Rage Ancestral Protector Movement Skill: Leap Slam - Faster Attacks - Blood Magic - Endurance Charge On Melee Stun leap slam always stun enemies on full life so its an easy way to get end. charges. no CWDT, golem, curse setup since we dont have the sockets for it :) Pantheons:

What weapon would you recommend for leveling and mapping until we can afford a Starforge?
What do I use until I can get a starforge? and the DPS is a bit low, even with a starforge, in the POB it does not give even 1 million total DPS even with several buffs like leech, power charge and killed recently. Use the impale's mechanics would not it be interesting to increase the damage?

" you are missing the point here. most builds aim for high dps cuz they cant sustain the fights. with this one you just spin until everything is dead. damage is fine, as you can see in the video, shaper is dead pretty fast. also the fight itself is really easy since you are not afraid of his attacks and degens. |
I'd still like to here some recommendations for weapons leading up to a starforge. It's an interesting build, more tanky then all the other cyclones you see. Most items that make the build are pretty obtainable but the starforge is brutally expensive.

" " true, the sword is expensive this league. honestly, just use whatever you can afford with high pDPS and some attack speed. for a unique option, you can probably use Doomsower. |
Are there any body chests I could use besides Kaoms for this build ?
Thank you for the guide btw =) |
Thanks, I was looking around at options and landed on doomsower too. There seem to be alot reasonable rares that should work too.

So I filled in the tree at lv.73. What do I do with the skill points after that?
