[3.12] Sword & Board Scion | Cleave | League Starter, Budget, New-player friendly

This seems to be throttled by the leeching cap, that is, it is set to leach several percent of damage, but it can only take (in my version of the build) ~1200 health per second. Since the dps should be much, much greater than that, I'm thinking of unlinking some of the life leech nodes (and I've equipped a Carnage Heart that dropped, for the moment) and putting in "more damage while holding shield" nodes or just straight life.
Is this still optimal for 3.10? I don't see changes that would affect this, so I'm wondering if I'm making a faulty assumption. (I think the monsters have tens of thousands of hit points, but maybe they have 99% damage mitigation and my 200K strike hits them for 50 points....)

Just to be clear, on my version right now I leech 3.74%, have a 515 base max recovery per leech, a 60% recovery modifier, and 1134 max total recovery per second (22%).
