[3.9] Physical Conversion Bowyer | Wander [TS/LA/IS + Barrage] [KB + Power Siphon] [All Content]

I am finding having a jewel with "Corrupted Blood Cannot Be Inflicted On You" corruption to be fairly mandatory for this build. Having bleed immunity on a life flask simply doesn't work for Blight encounters. This reminds me of running Beachhead rotas in Harbringer league where I was running a very fast attacking build. There is no way you can hit the life flask fast enough to keep yourself alive (life flask takes has no effect if you happen to hit it when you're at full health). Another solution is to have blood immunity on another utility flask, but that means sacrificing "of the order" on your diamond flask or "of adrenaline" on your quicksilver.
Yeah I like anti-bleed on my utility flasks better but that can't happen in this build. If you use 2-socket Bubonic then getting C.Blood immunity should be somewhat easy, even more so if you're Raider which has permanent Phasing and Onslaught.

I've been fiddling with crafting on Path of Crafting on mobile and I thought crafting jewel/shield with Frigid fossil alone would be izi pizi, I was wrong.
There's absolutely no economic way for you to hit desirable and usable mods before sinking exalts upon exalts on a dead cause that can be purchased directly from scrubs.

The other thing you will sink is your time on that damn app lol.

This seems to be an issue with some people playing this build.

Are you playing with game sound on? There's a sound associated with corrupted blood as soon as it begins stacking. I typically use that as a cue to hit my staunching.

I find that using a catalysed staunching life flask instead of a instant heal life flask helps a bit more with those CB bleeds.

In the end-game setup, most of the time you'll probably be running a 4th utility flask like chemist basalt of staunching instead of life flask, so that may help a bit. I usually do that and swap to life flask before certain guardians since I die less without a life flask due to more tankiness from one-shots..

Also, with Pathfinder, I spam my catalysed life flask of staunching along with the 4 other flasks every 2-3 seconds regardless if I need a heal. It typically takes 1-2 seconds for the corrupting blood to stack high enough to completely outdegen your leech + LGOH, so usually this continuous spamming of staunching life flask is enough to counter these surprise CB bleeds. At least this is in my experience. The two testers I've been watching very closely haven't died to a CB bleed in Blight while using a staunching life flask yet, but I understand people have different playstyles.

I'll ask around a bit more and if some more people raise this concern I'll make sure to include it into the guide. Thanks for the feedback.

If anyone reading this also experiences the same problem please let me know.

Edit: A CB jewel even a 1-2 mod one will still be better than sacrificing a suffix on diamond/quicksilver. Half a jewel slot is a small price to pay for that utility IMO

I don't always play with sound on. I suppose using a life flask at 2 second intervals should work. I might try it sometime.
Got to #1 Pathfinder for Blight with this build. I love playing wander but couldn't get ele wander to hit the heights of Incursion league so this guide really made me enjoy a league where my friends took a break from and played WoW

Just wondering if I decide to go the Farrul's route, what pieces should I look to change?

Thinking the best bet is probably to drop Bubonics for an Aspect Boots?

Just crafted these for my Power Siphon! I was aiming for "Supported by Faster Attacks" but it was just too annoying to hit so I settled with Chance to bleed.
I guess it synergizes with deadeye's Rupture too

Important news for everyone reading this. I overlooked another major thing. Replace Cold Pen gem in your barrage setup with Inspiration. This is a red gem that gives more damage in 99% of situations. I checked the sample POB for Pathfinder and damage went from 7.44mil to 8.39mil. Not only this, it makes rechroming your chest a lot easier. Also, it cuts your barrage cost by nearly half. Absolutely broken.

This means all 3 ascendancies can probably drop +2 mana viridian jewel. I'm not too sure because the Inspiration doesn't apply to KB but I doubt most people will be spamming KB as much as barrage.

This is going to change some pathing on the tree too. Because Cold Pen is replaced, Pen on the tree becomes a lot more valuable, and Forces of Nature might be worth taking. I will likely restructure the tree to take both Revenge of the Hunted + Forces of Nature.

Wow very nice! Those are some sick gloves! I personally prefer chance to bleed more for the higher chance of 1-shotting.

Congratz on hitting #1 Pathfinder on ladder! Very impressive.

I think aspect on boots would probably be the best. Although if you use rare boots, you could probably stack enough resists to recraft your opal ring into a pure damage ring or an elder one. An aspect on that finished ring might be better, depending on how much res you need to reach the cap. Since a suffix on a ring is only worth 30% res while on boots it can be 40+%.

Also when you switch to Farrul's, make sure to take one power and one frenzy on the tree to make sure it's permanent charge uptime. Don't take more than one of each because dps/node isn't worth it.

Edit: actually, if you use Farrul's. suffixes on rings + amulet becomes sorta bad b/c +1 minimum/power are useless, so you might be able to just craft aspect on there. Stacking resists on your jewelry suffixes might end up being better, because you could probably keep bubonics for the damage, and replace your shield with one that has 70+% cold damage + open suffix for a double damage craft.

Thanks for your advice. Managed to get some upgrades and dropped Phase Acrobatics for Frenzy/Power Charges. Really didn't expect the shield to give me so much more damage

I see that you mentioned the mod for the shield is very rare, but I think you should also mention instead of trying to roll for the prefix, look out for the Incursion Prefix Modifier "Topotante". I bought two for a total of 10c and managed to not annul the mod on the second try

Do you think we could drop Cyclopean Coil if we get "Cannot be frozen" mod on boots? is immunity to shock really that important?

I'm thinking of multimodding a pair of spell dodge two-toned boots since well rolled ones are pretty much non-existent.

Pref: Life, 30% MS + Spell dodge, Cannot be frozen OR Attack dodge when focussed OR hybrid life
Suff: double res, double res, multimod

I think it's pretty important mainly because so many mobs can shock you in the game and it's definitely going to end up killing you in some scenarios unless you're running very low tier maps. Shocked ground maps are also going to suck by giving enemies 20% more damage. It's up to you though, I think you could try it out and see if you're ok with it. I personally never go without shock immunity just because I notice it's a lot rippier at least from my experience.

Hey thanks for bringing that up; I didn't know Topotante's mod for the shield existed until last league when someone pointed it out (they went the same route as you and multimodded their shield). I definitely overlooked this and will edit the guide to include that soon.

and very nice gear :D
