Syndicate Freezes, Stutters/Drops Frames Severely

My game runs really smooth...don't have any issues until the syndicate show up and the green portals lag me just enough to get me killed every time. Makes leveling impossible now. Please turn off the syndicate...all they do is give out crap anyway. This is another part of the game I am not allowed to play.

" Hmm ok. I dont know why, but it seems like a Intel (i-core) CPU and nVidia GPU can handle this much better than AMD. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2266457/page/1 6700K and GTX1050 (non TI) here and no problems with Syndicate Lags. Don't believe the Hype!

Could be something to the intel bit but my card is a good Nvidia. I've had Nvidia cards as long as I have played PoE. Never had any problems til this league, though.
Wife's specs are similar to yours but much better card and she gets lag. Pretty sure the code is just fucked when they changed syndicate this league. Censored.

If I am lucky, it just lags until I die as soon as a syndicate intervention shows up. Tonight I got kicked from the game, once to login screen and once completely. GAME CLOSED OUT!!! PLEASE remove the broken syndicate encounters from the game. I had 2 hours to play tonight, and I spent most of that time logging back in. I quit when the game died, first portal on a map, and the syndicate was about to pop up. Game lagged, froze, then failed. Was about an hour in, and not planning on playing any more. PLEASE GET RID OF THE BUGGY BETRAYAL CONTENT!!!!!!!!! I love PoE, it is a fun, challenging, replayable game, but the betrayal league mechanic is causing me to devote less and less time to playing it. Less time means less desire to tell others, buy microtransactions, etc. I want to play this game, but I don't have to. FIX THE DAMN GAME YOU HAVE BY DISABLING SYNDICATE!!!!!!!! Might give the next league a try, might just give up altogether.

" Hmm, could it be any 3rd Party Software running in the Background like AV, Firewall? Or in worst case Malware/Virus on the PC that eat Performance? I am using Win10 Pro 64bit, OS is on my 500GB SSD and PoE (not via steam) is installed on a different Partition same SSD. I don't run any 3rd Party Software in the Background, but the Windows Stuff like Defender, Firewall and all that is activated. If anyone wants to compare for probably locating the Problem here my Specs: -i7-6700K @4500MHz -Asus ROG Maximus VIII Impact Intel Z170 -2x8GB DDR4 3600MHz CL16 -nVidia GTX1050 non-TI 2GB / 411.63 driver -Samsung Evo 850 500GB SATA SSD -Onboard Sound -Win10Pro 64Bit with newest Updates all the time -50Mbit Internetconnection (PoE Ping like 15-25ms EU) -no WLan for PC, connect with cable -No Steam for PoE, OS is on seperate Partition, Gamefolder is on another seperate Partiton (both on Samsung Evo 850 500GB) -No 3rd Party Software like AV or Firewall (pretty clean Win-install), i am using the Windows Tools like Defender, Firewall and all that and its all activated No Lags/Freezes when the Syndicate show up Don't believe the Hype! " I turn all background processes off before running PoE, though I fail to see any difference when I have forgotten to do so. I run anti spyware and av so computer is all clear. When wife's was new, out of box, a virgin PC with only Steam and Poe client installed she got the lag. I played PoE for years w/out Steam (though my acct was linked from beginning) and recently went back to Steam because of the damned performance issues. Was going to re-install PoE but decided instead to uninstall and install through Steam. Even wiped the registry. It loads a bit quicker is about all. Oh, yeah updates are like 4x faster through Steam. I will try running it with av off. That is about all I have NOT tried so far. I've heard that PoE is hostile to some av so will give it a shot. Thanks for your help though (whether anything comes of it or not)! Sadly, GGG is no longer interested in tech support for PC users. Censored.
