[3.9] Cospri's CoC Discharge Ascendant (RETIRED)

"
Voll's protector now comes with inner conviction, this means no frenzy charges. How big of a problem does this cause? Are there other armors we could be using?

This is not a problem at all. Most of our damage when clearing comes from power and endurance charges (single target damage is entirely power and endurance). If anything this makes power charge sustain a bit better and gives overall more damage cause of 3% more spell damage per power charge. Mobs still shatter from HoI, don't need the frenzies.

My last question would be do we still need 3 discharges then? I am guessing it is fine since we should always have endurance and power charges.

Yeah I don't see why not. I've never been short of charges with 3 discharges. The more discharges the better.

Great guide, I had a couple of questions, What good is the gem "gain power charge on crit" socketed in our chest when our chest piece itself gives us a power charge every time we crit?

Second question is why are we stacking spell crit everywhere (doomcast & Annihilation) if we are using controlled det support in our discharge? it can't be for cyclone to crit and generate power charges, because that isn't a spell. I'm just curious.

Love the build, thanks for puting in the time for the rest of us :)
Is the watcher's eye jewel necessary? Which state line is the most important on it?

Pcoc is just the best support gem for discharge damage. Ele focus doesn't let you shock or chill, controlled destruction lowers cyclone crit and hypothermia is unreliable. Plus the increased crit for cyclone from pcoc is nice. You could run ele focus for bosses. I'm not sure how consistently we inflict shock and how strong the shock is.

Those nodes are for crit multi not for spell crit.

It's not necessary. Arcane surge is the most important.

what maps do you shape? I was just wondering what maps might have a fairly good div card drop and is very much in doors with small rooms and fairly little back tracking :)
i like this build but die often, what is the best option to get Discipline in to get the +ES on hit from the Watcher's Eye? Or is there any other way to get more survivability?

I don't really do the shaped strat much anymore. I mostly just run T14+ variety maps. If I want to target spam one map, I elder my burial chambers.

Just look at maps that drop doctor, nurse, or exalt cards, they all are good to elder and spam as T16s. Tower, port, arsenal, spider forest, burial chambers, arcade etc. You can find this info on the wiki.

If you're asking for just legion league, then nothing beats open layout maps like glacier and dunes.

Otherwise, for this build you're want to look for narrow passages so tower is probably really good.

Think the best way would be to fossil craft an elder ring with metallic fossils, try and get the % 0.2 lightning damage leeched as life. Then multimod around it. Drop the leech gem for conc effect. Should result in more consistent leech. I'm probably going to do this, cause its a straight up upgrade.

Another way is, drop zealotry for vitality (this probably also lets you level precision to 20). Get a x2 vitality watcher's eye instead with damage leeched as life and life recovery rate.

Is it possible to play this on a witch for more energy shield/spell damage nodes?

What would I be giving up aside from the jewel sockets?
