I'm not sure where you're getting that you need to do the Kargul fight, https://poedb.tw/us/CraftingBenchOptions says you need to do an abyssal city node. You need to actually go down the stairs into the city and get to one of the treasure rooms and it should be there. Edit, just noticed this was a necro'd thread but meh.
