[3.6] The Blizz Sorc - Icestorm/Winter Orb CI Occultist - Viable For Everything
" Ah well, a single jewel with a single strength mod fixes it all. It's not that hard to find those for cheap as we don't require a life roll on it. :) Tip btw: If you're looking for Jewels, don't go for cold damage ones atm. Due to the popularity of cold degen builds, cold damage Jewels are in high demand and if you get something like say, 16% spell damage while wielding a staff, it is essentially the same thing, as spell damage applies in the same places that cold damage does in this build. As the vortex builds do not use a staff, it'll be much cheaper for the same exact results. :) Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done. Lay your portal gem to rest, don't you die no more. 'Cause it's a bitter sweet symphony this league. Try to make maps meet, you're a slave to the meta, then you leave. " First thanks for the detailed answer BUT as i wrote i had not so much time to play. I play this build since 5 leagues and with sc the trash clearing was not so good the boss killing better. The overall feeling better since it wasnt so much not to master things in game like the syndicate. AND you never looked on mobs since reflect was no problem. Now i MUST look since a single reflect mob can kill me. I tested yesterday the first maps and so i have life flasks. And grappy gear is normal if you dont have much luck with currency dropping. And this league is really really bad for me. |

" Whatever the case, the survivability of this build is extremely good. This is not at all a glass cannon build, nor does it have any distinct weaknesses. It relies on leech and can't run reflect maps, that's it. Reflect mobs are not longer a thing. The new mechanic can be safely ignored, so whatever you died to, it wasn't a single reflect mob. This build is not good if your gear is bad, which is what Tecken was trying to point out to you. Do not expect to facetank Syndicate members without properly gearing up for the build first and before you are CI with at least 7k ES at 1k+ int, you're not done gearing. Carry on my waypoint son, there'll be peace when maps are done.

" Erm... I get that you used additional 2 points to connect to scion starter, and we have witch starter by default. But how did you get templar and shadow ones? lol Well, obviously, out of all of them, only templar have value for us, but it will be additional 5 points atleast to connect it. If you count it as price, pure talent don't look that good anymore. |
|
" I took the int nodes down from trickery (near shadow) nad retribution (near templar) |

Still having a blast with this build! Just completed Merc Lab at Lv 69 with no deaths and shit gear. Izaro barely moved and he was dead. Just have to complete Act 10 and I'm ready for mapping.
Here's my current (crap) gear: |

1- Cast when damage taken - Immortal call:
Level 1 - 7 or 20 - 20?. Which one its better? 2- why winter orb gem in level 1?, Wiki says that the gem up to level 5 cost the same on mana. And 3- How do you deal with mana needs at level 39 when switch to full build with staff? Editado por útlima vez por yissus#1647 en 14 dic. 2018 14:10:51

Love the build but stop playing it due to it laggine me the fuck out!
Anyone know the reason and how to fix this or is it just poe? Gtx 1060 i7-4790k build. When I channel I drop to 30fps. I did buy a 144 hz monitor with g sync... Have I spoiled myself to the point where poe doesn't feel good anymore cause the rest of my games are buttery smooth? Great build btw! Thanks! " I can't answer #1, but for #2 and #3, with a low enough mana cost, your innate mana regen counters the cost of channeling WO. Ice Storm's mana cost is ignored. Once you get the "-4 to mana costs" veiled mod, you could use up to a lvl 20 WO and still not worry about the cost of it. |
