Ouch... I'm crossing my fingers, but with global spells being rebalanced, and how nice this build was, we may be in for a damage nerf. I would have rather seen no mention of Ice Storm at all, and just ran with the ES spell leech changes... *smirk*

Let's stay positive! Maybe they're addressing the poor performance optimization of the spell.

It looks like it will be something like "won't apply Chilled ground where projectiles land", looking at other texts there.

Whispering Ice is for sure one of the mentioned uniques :/
well those splashes and chilled ground from WI may be a cause of poor performance, so they might cut it out, from my understanding it wont affect build that much, neglectable

Ghost Reaver now doubles your maximum energy shield per second in addition to turning all Life Leech into Energy Shield Leech and lowering your shield recharge rate.

Seems like there isnt any reason now to travel for the VP.

this could be a huge blow, as i understand it, previously we've got 20% base life leech, doubled by vaal pact to 40% and converted to ES leech by ghost reaver, now we got base ES leech at 10% ("Energy Shield has a lower cap on maximum restored per second than Life Leech (10% of maximum energy shield per second)" - from manifesto) doubled by Ghost reaver ("Ghost Reaver now doubles your maximum energy shield per second"), they do mention additional nodes to increase that cap, but still sounds like bad news
