[3.6] The Blizz Sorc - Icestorm/Winter Orb CI Occultist - Viable For Everything

This build continues to amaze me. I finally obtained my end game armor to match my helm, gloves and boots and things really get fun with a 6L and linking Frostbite to HoI. ES is 12,400 and INT is at 2044...could upgrade my rings, amulet and belt if I make enough from delving but I'm still very happy where I am right now.

Time to finally fill out my Atlas and beat up the Syndicate some more...except the Mastermind anyway. Screw that noise.

Only tricky part is getting that boot enchantment for mana leech. I've done about 8 runs with the Twice Enchanted prophecy and still no luck. I know it's a 1 in 20 chance but Rngesus is being a jerk at the moment (while continuing to drop Exalts like candy, go figure!). I will put aside my dislike of the lab and keep trying however.

Too many pages to read through, just curious Any thoughts on using profane bloom instead of frigid wake? Kinda new to this type of casting not sure if frigid wake is that necessary for survival?

you don't understand the importance of frigid wake i.e. "Cannot be Chilled Cannot be Frozen" :)

How about "Damage on full life support" gem? Ain't 1/1 basically full life all the time?

If I remember correctly, it works with Attack skills and not with Spells.

Any tips on crafting the chest or is it just total luck? I've dumped more currency this morning as I've ever even had in any other league.

Yes, absolutely worth 2 ex. Multi-craft suffix for 2 ex, then add 2 prefixes (74% ES and hybrid 40% ES + life). Then catch 3-star Hillock in Fortification and 28q it. And Divine it to 12% Int.

Profane Bloom is a clear speed option. But everything already explodes fine, Frigid Wake helps trigger extra HoI explosions. Freeze/chill immunity and momentarily freezing enemies is a nice survivability bonus in high end content. My focus has always been on the hardest content, therefore I choose Frigid Wake. But if you think you need more clear speed, Profane Bloom works too.
