Appreciate the detail. Looking at your PoB, so many cluster jewels! Given the quiver is also like 5ex, how do you think this costs out overall? Is non-cluster version (or maybe limited to 1-2 jewels) on the armor/str side of the tree worth while?
I ran a single large with 2 mediums for a long time. the wasting affliction medium notable is one of the biggest DPS increases due to bleed duration reduction.
large bow notables: tempered arrowheads > heavy hitter > feed/fuel
large phys notables: iron breaker, heavy hitter, master the fundamentals
medium phys dotM notables: wasting affliction mandatory, compound affliction/rend (these are 8ex+ atm), mid tier: vivid hues. budget: student of decay which also gives good chaos resist. the dps gain of student is about half that of compound so its not a waste considering the jewels are more like 30c
cluster jewels are quite easy to figure out yourself if you know how to use pob, you can setup your build gear/tree/gems and make sure you have the correct skill selected, then go to items and create a large cluster, when you mouse over the notables in the drop down list it gives a live dps calculation for each. obviously this ignores synergy between the different notables, but it is a relatively accurate assessment. if you want to really go over the top and accurately calculate including synergy, you need to make individual gems and compare them or allocate 2/3 desired notables and go to craft new item to calculate what adding a third would do.
just run a broadhead quiver (flat phys implicit) with hunter influence for +dmg multi. you will need ensnaring arrow on a 4 socket item. i ran ensnaring-GrtMultProj-Faster-Mirage before switching quiver.
can also get life/resists which is nice, try this search https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Heist/5nla54mfa
drop the life mod if you are poor
my old quivers:
https://pastebin.com/nbCAaJ7c quick budget tree in pob which is essentially what i leveled with, thats what you should probably run on STR tree with only 1l & 2m clusters. it drops the charge nodes because no farruls and drops one of the clusters, picking up extra eva/arm/res/life nodes as well as dps. Without changing my gear/gems its 3.6m sirus dps vs 5.1m so the clusters really are worth it, just not right away.
one of the benefits of the left tree is the naturally high str you get, letting you run high lvl red gems like enduring cry (i run it on left click as my move skill)

What is not mentioned in the guide is the most important bow crafting part: how he got the dot multiplier there. Was it a lucky regal or ex slam with prefixes locked

its standard league so probably harvest lol
rolling a perfect bow in heist is quite challenging.
the chances are horrid. calculates as 200ex slams with prefixes locked or 100ex with multicraft>lockprefix>cantrollattack>annul multi off which you could certainly do for less than 100ex considering annul chances with locked prefixes is quite good
seems the only way to craft a godlike bow with t1 flat phys, elder bleed, t1 dot mult. can maybe roll the new expensive orbs for the +1 crafted mod if you want attack speed or try exalting

Probably harvest or imprints. Imprints are cheap this league so i wanted to try it out. The chance is indeed low, and alts are very expensive.
The guy over here described the method: https://tldrexile.com/pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2872787
Although i still could not understand the last part on how he managed to get bleed there. Might be regal as well.

the method he used is the one i calculated earlier, its the best way and its still 3k alts + 50ish imprints to get the elder bleed with the regal
he crafted flat phys and dot modifier which are both horribly low chances so he imprinted that, then regal'd elder bleed. from there im guessing %phys attackspeed/qual multicraft
my bow is quite good and in order to get a better one with this crafting it would need t1 flat and t1 dot multi with elder bleed, i was simming it in pob earlier. i would love dot multi but i think ill work on the rest of my gear first.

Ah that's pretty nice. I did respec last night, but went with Iron Reflexes as my gear is all evasion.
Not the best tier for +phys, but im reasonably happy with this bow. Working on a second medium cluster jewel (though i could trade for one), and next thing i wanna upgrade is the amulet to have phys dot multi.
What's the difference between builds that post on poe.ninja with same skills and items? But they going to the left on passive tree. I bought almost everything, it remains to determine the passive tree.
TL;DR- The left direction tree (I call it STR side) has higher consistent damage while the right direction (DEX side) requires accuracy but with crits it can get some huge numbers. The axe bleed node 'Cleaving' doesn't even get converted by lioneye's and is STILL one of the highest single point dps gains for bleed builds on the entire tree. My personal opinion is the DEX side is less consistent relying heavily on rng for survival, with not enough additional layers to prevent the random oneshots that tend to happen in crazy maps from time to time, while the STR side with more of an armour focus can more readily survive these.
I play a similar build that I started off on a random 3.11 bleed bow guide then just grew it myself with lots of theorycrafting and testing. Bleed bow is just so much fun, I can't recommend trying it out more, this RoA puncture guide is a great place to start. I'm planning on writing my own guide for my build but I am quite busy IRL right now.
I started off with left direction tree with 1 bow large cluster (tempered/fuel/heavy) and wasting/compound mediums which was huge dmg but survivability was a problem. Was using CWDT IC and Vaal MS quartz/granite/jade(reflexes)/silver. I recently changed my entire build to the passive tree of the build in this thread with some slight variations, and while it was only a 20% bleed dps loss for puncture, it just didnt have enough survivability to justify it to me.
I prefer split arrow to RoA because it feels a lot smoother when mapping, but the two skills are essentially interchangable. I prefer chain on SA but you can run pierce/fork if you prefer. divergent SA is best (+dmg)
I run anomalous puncture (pierce 2 targets) for QoL to ensure my punctures hit bosses and dont get blocked by swarms of adds or a random pot (or twin bosses!) which is very frustrating and happens to me often enough that I decided to change it, this is a 10% bleed dps loss but you barely feel it when you are geared to the teeth as puncture dmg is just so stupidly high.
I ran ensnaring arrow +GMP+FastAttack+MirageArcher for ages which was good qol but I got a maloney's quiver to test recently and that let me move my maim gem from split arrow to ensnaring, giving even more clearspeed through more split arrow dmg.
I used assailum for ages because the huge numbers and ability to basically oneshot bosses if you know when their phases start/end and can fully charge, but settled on rare life/resists after switching builds so many times.
Used a lvl 1 divergent clarity for ages but dont currently have a slot for it, also it doesn't work in pob yet and im not even sure it works ingame. technically if you hit full mana before the projectiles hit the enemies it should apply the bonus, which happens to me a lot while I map.
After doing a fair bit of research browsing top bleed bow glads on poeninja I put together a tankier version of the STR tree that runs two large/4med clusters and has very good survivability through the use of some silly expensive uniques (maloney's, replica farruls). I'm still tweaking the resists to get more chaos in but its a work in progress.
One of the big tricks in the STR tree is putting brute force solution with 20+ int and corrupted blood (costs 20-30c atm) in the slot between duelist and marauder start, which gives 60+ int and lets you run malevolence + empower 4, which is far better than pride imo. dont underestimate the utility of herald of purity too, I learned about it from this guide and it is now an essential part of my build.
my current pob - https://pastebin.com/mPamr8f4, its a little messy but has all my different build tree tests in the tree dropdown, V3 is what I am using atm, I simulated champion and ascendant (pathfinder/slayer) + tested ascendant ingame but gladiator is just too good. It is obviously still a work in progress with messy resist buffer on a jewel but I need more currency.
currently trying to craft a steel ring with life/flatphys/vuln32/resist
Thanks for the POB, I've been going back and forth from different builds on ninja as well, but havent quiet found what feels good on overall defenses. I switched iron reflexes, but kind of feel like wind dancer and evasion with some armor is the way to go.

So yeah, like i thought he managed to alt DOT + flat phys and regal'ed bleed then. Well, it's expensive project indeed :))

Swapped over to a mix of ev/armor from IR, as i found to be dieing a lot. Don't think i was as much previously. Though ev/phys reduction ins't all that high unless flasks are up, around 25% each.
