I'm using Frost Sentinels. Since I don't have an Unending Hunger jewel

What should we use if we have the jewel?
I slowly collect currency and wonder what to buy first:

Unending Hunger or Grip of the Council Arcanist Gloves

What do you think?
Hello there, thanks for the build, enjoying it so far, only issue I haven't been able to find is the updated(for 3.8) ascendancy points, also an actual 3.8 pob link?
Hi Hercanic,

Quick question, why are you using cyclone CWC + lighting ballm what is the purpose for your lighting ball as you are not using poison hoa ?

Also i tried Cyclone - CWC- Legion - SRS = this had amazing clear potential, i had a feeling it did better than melee splash, did you try this out ?
the relic keeps them alive so that can stack up with 20 easly and you don't need to recast them.
hi, first of all - great job with the build and the guide. The best.

But i have a problem - and it probably is a noob question - how the boots combo cyclone-CWC-ball lightning works? I got it the exact same way as it is in guide, but - how hoes it trigger? Skills can`t be used it says, and I have no idea how / when will i see those lights coming out of my a- ..ehm, boots. What am I missing?
Thanks in advance.
Which setup should I use with specters if I have one Unending Hunger? And which specters?

Also, I've been talking on the Discord and it seems that Desecrate spawn corpses too late for Spirit Offering to consume them. That means that the first CWDT doesn't do anything for us, only from the second onwards does Spirit Offering take effect.

Elemental equilibrium and frenzy charges from Victario's charity.

On an unrelated note i just experienced the bug that people were talking about, where after summoning vaal skellies server kicks you out and closes all portals to a map, but it happened on a normal map, not a blighted one. Rip my t10 :/

Cast while channeling casts ball lightning automatically while you're channeling cyclone. Thats why its unusable manually.

So i've got a question regarding ball lightning, i'm not a fan of running cyclone with this build, i've tried it and i'm just not enjoying it, id rather just use ball lightning + coh + proj weakness, or something like that setup.

What would be the direction i should go with the build?, i think id rather have the frost sentinels as my main guys, and skeletons/zombies (carrion) for single target, i'm also messing around with dead reckoning, any suggestions would be great.

Up to you. Cyclone is just a delivery method that keeps us moving and gives some free immunities. Charged Dash and Blade Flurry are also options.

Manually casting Ball Lightning with Unleash and Knockback is fantastic for deep delving. Last league our top player made it past 900 depth before getting bored. =o)

Just did Uber lab and got this helm enchant

So Desecrate now gives me 8 corpse. I don't have a strong understanding of the calculations of the benefits of Cwdt/desecrate/spirit offering. Is this enchant useful for us?

Is this [Desecrate] enchant useful for us?

Not particularly. Spirit Offering will only consume 5 corpses. It might help if Spirit Offering's targeting ever gets wonky and goes for an existing corpse some distance away, and by having more corpses it takes up more area and thus is more likely to be near enough to an errant corpse.

It'd also be useful if you ever wanted to use the Plaguebringer ascendancy, since even after Spirit Offering takes its fill there will be corpses remaining for the Nearby Corpse damage/protection buff.

1. Is Carrion Golem worth using and if yes where to fit it in the setup?

2. Some of the min-maxed gems might be expensive. Is it better to go 21/0 or 20/20?

Is Carrion Golem worth using and if yes where to fit it in the setup?

I'm liking him. At one point I felt my clear was a bit slower and then noticed I hadn't summoned him yet, so he's definitely contributing.

You can group him with Zombies, but this will cost Feeding Frenzy or Empower. I don't like either option. You can group him with Skeletons, making use of those links outside of bossing. This is better, but it does mean single-target suffers. I don't quite like that, either.

Plus Melee Splash is working really well on Skeletons during Blight, whereas all the Carrion Golem's attacks are already AOE. So no synergy there.

I could go Kitava's Heralds and swap Phantasms for Carrion Golem. Both would strongly benefit from Multistrike, for example. I don't quite like losing the huge area coverage of Frost Sentinels, though.

I could put him in a ring, but then he's just there for the tiny flat damage buff. In that case, a Chaos Golem would be much better.

I could simplify my Cyclone setup (drop CwC) and put him there, like how Raging Spirits were meant to be worked in. That'd give him more melee damage from Fortify affix on boots and two sockets, making him a 4L.

There will be a cost no matter what we do. The least painful would probably be dropping Feeding Frenzy on Zombies and putting him there. You'll want Golem Commander (anointment, Intuitive Leap, or 4 pts) and an Anima Stone to get the most out of the socket, but again this'll take something from other things.

Hard numbers for comparing with what we're sacrificing is tricky to calculate, due to the complicated nature of the Carrion Golem's combo attack and multi-hit cascade. I'll eventually get around to running his numbers.

Is it better to go 21/0 or 20/20?

Depends on the gem and what its quality bonus offers.

21/0 Phantasms is better, for example, because its quality is worthless and 1 level = +1 Phantasm and +2 monster level for Phantasms (= ~10% more damage and life).

21/0 Vaal Skeletons would be better, because 20% increased damage from Quality is worth less than ~10% more damage and life, along with more skeletons depending on the breakpoint.

20/20 Projectile Weakness is better, because 1% increased projectile damage taken from a Level is worth less than 10% from Quality.

Unending Hunger or Grip of the Council

Grip is worth ~15% more damage. Unending Hunger gives our clear skill infinite cast speed and 5% damage reduction per soul.

What [Spectre] should we use

Your choice. I prefer the double range of Frost Sentinels, but will give Fire-raisers another shake when I progress further. Or I'll just go onto my Standard character, but I'd like to check Blight viability as well.

Summon one of each and compare how the two behave in competition. Pick the one you like.
