This is the first league I've played where I've been able to farm uber elder effectively. I played a lot in Abyss, lightly during Bestiary/Incursion and skipped Delve. Really I'm just excusing that it isn't a perfect execution kill, but it is easily deathless (I did die twice on my first ue - this is my fifth ue kill). Shaper is trivial.

I had just hit 96 and died five times doing HotG but got that done too. With a little practice and swapping to chaos/dot res pantheon and amethyst/ruby flasks you could probably get it done deathless with this build np.

• Use an Essence Worm

Hi. Fun to hear that you've come up with a quite similar build :)

You have multiple options on how to deal with the 95% mana reservation.

• Use a level 3-4 Enlighten.
• Pick up some of the Reduced Mana Reserved nodes close to the Templar starting area.
• Use the -# reduced mana cost to skills craft on your rings.
• Use an Essence Worm
• Get a combination of larger mana pool and %reduced cost of skills from the passive tree.

Depending on your budget you could go for any one of these or with a combination of them. In the end you should pick the one that is easiest / feels best for your setup.

I have to say it's great with the changes that have been made this season. I managed to kill the Uber-Elder, with the average configuration of equipment, and it goes great.

Deathless is still deathless, and if you pick a build that makes the encounter very forgiving... who can blame you? ;)

Nice videos there. Shaper is getting to that point to me too where he is pretty much trivial with any build I try it with. Lets hope that GGG makes more fun and hard encounters like the Über Elder fight in the future.
