I have not pushed the depth, but have focused on the Atlas. I am currently at depth 250 without any problems that are not my own making.

I fly through tier 15 maps so fast it scares me but have not tried any tier 16.

If you could give me a couple hints on how to record a bit of video I will try to post a clip because the build runs unlike anything else I've seen. I have little doubt that this could do endgame in the hands of a capable player because I've done better at a higher tier with this character than I have those builds which others take all the way and I cannot.

You can just drop bleeds in this case i guess, since it's the shock that pops faster.
As for the pops and farming: it's pretty common experience for any Inpulsa build, it's just very fast for mapping. Another reason why we see so many BV Elementalists out there.
The lack of defense really kicks in though in the end-game and bossing is impossible too.
For recording i recommend to download OBS and setup it up. Just add game source and check video settings.

Ended up getting a "Level 12 Poacher's Mark on Hit" ring for pretty cheap, did some testing. I removed Essence Sap on top of that, and despite only having another 3 mana/hit, my sustain is totally fine (95% of the time). Only issues arise when I'm 1-shotting everything, which only tends to happen in low content when I'm using quill rain. When trash gets close, despair seems to override Poacher's Mark for more damage once they get in the dangah zone.

I removed Despair/Blasphemy as well until I get an Impresence, my Witchfire Brew does that job well enough for now.

Since I'm only using a 5L HoA, I have a bit of extra mana to work with for reservation (I'm using Blind, keeps reservation down and helps out with my Maloney's). Messing with adding on Herald of Purity with Minon Speed and Blind as well. More physical damage to convert, and their AoE blinds are working well so far!

I finally hit 93, so I am doing the higher tier maps which I have never done before and did not want to lose xp failing.

Past tier 13, Concentrated Effect wins over Elemental Prolif. It's not as "fun", but much more effective, especially for bossing.

I think the bleed is worthwhile at higher tier, especially with Concentrated Effect reducing the full pack Inpulsa pops. The bleedsplosion is guaranteed while only a few mobs in a pack Inpulsa.

I can't tell if my deaths are due to lack of defense or just because I've never done the map before, running it blind, and panicking leading to my death. My money is on my lack of skill and experience.

I've got a busy weekend, so I will try to set up OBS the beginning of next week and see if I can get a few clips. If I can, I'll post my first attempts at running tier 16 maps.
I have a newb questions about the Embalmer. Does it matter what we socket in it? The unique mod "Socketed gems are supported by vile toxins" suggests that only gems socketed in this item are effected by vile toxins?

Is this the case, because I dont see any gems socketed in the gloves in your build that would benefit from this.

Or do we just need it for the chaos damage and poison duration?

I'm confused.

Both Toxic Rain and Herald benefit from Vile Toxins, but since we want more damage and potentially a 6L, we can use them in gloves only temporary, before we actually get a 6L or even a separate 5L.

Did you find any other combos with CWDT were decent?

I'm using your CWDT + Vaal Cold Snap + Immortal Call right now, but considering adding Phase Run in there as well..

However it would mean probably losing another spell, probably Vaal Blight.. Do you think this sacrifice is worth it?
I've not found myself using Vaal Blight that much.. but that's probably my own lack of concentration !
