Do you think I should change it for something with attack speed, or the damage on it is better ?

Is it better to use Breath of the Council or dual wield these claws?

In game tool-tip shows 20% increased DPS, but not sure why. POB on the other hand says Breath of the Council is better.

tooltip dps is useless. we dont care about hit dps, we care about poison dps. 40% increased duration from breath of the council is awsome to stack more poisons. dual wielding 2 awsome claws gives us no benefits.

Is this better then the Wasp Nest for me?

Well, I think I am set for a while.

In regards to the dual wielding claw question. The answer is no! The tooltip dps does not show poison which is our primary source of damage. Breath of the Council adds a staggering increased 80-100% chaos damage. Combine this with the our overall 100% more poison damage (With a 60% double damage poison mod on the weapon) and we get some really nice numbers cranked out.

The primary abuse of Breath is that viper strike won't use it. That forces strikes from the claw which is either doing a massive amount of bonus chaos damage (wasp nest) or giving us a really high chance of double poison damage (60% chance of 100% more poison damage), or in my case both ;).

Did you use both aberrant and corroded fossil to get the chaos dmg + 60% poison claw or just got lucky with a 1 slot resonator?

Took a break from playing this char and went to roll a Toxic Rain Assassin (which has been doing alright). But felt like in the mood to return to my PF especially after I bought this claw for literally 1 chaos earlier today. Admittedly the rolls on it aren't good as there's no attack speed, but found it interesting it came with the extra bleeding damage mod along with the obligatory poison one too.

For one chaos that will keep you going for a lil bit but attack speed is too important for viper strike. Your boss damage scales entirely off poison stacks. This also applies to your double strike clones. Faster attack speed means more wither stacks which is a huge multiplicative bonus to damage against bosses.

Sadly bleed has no purpose on a high attack speed build as it can stack only once. Neat claw though.
