You will find this for all popular skill gems. 20/20 corrupted is cheap, then 21/20 is 1-2ex and 21/23 is 5x+.

Both give -44% to enemy resistance at 20% quality. Conductivity gives shock related bonuses which are lost because of Elemental Focus support. So it kinda doesn't matter which one you use. But if you ever want to change spectres, it's good to have leveled up Elemental Weakness ready.

This is why in the Alternative Spectres section I don't list any curse gems (Conductivity, Flammability or Frostbite) - because EW will help all spectres.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the build! You should definitely try the PoH build. It might be better to convert your current necro at a cost of about 60 regrets. And then buy the other gear from trade.


I'm hoping that spectres aren't changed too much because they're actually about the same as before 3.8 - the minion changes mostly affected zombies and skeletons.

If there isn't any major changes, I'll record video guides for 3.9 before league start (both wand and shield and PoH!) with a better microphone!

Hm, PoB says Faster Casting is slightly better in DPS than Elemental Focus. On top of that elemental focus removes ailments, so.. why Elemental Focus is used?

I even can see why it's the case. Flame surge has 65% cast speed decrease.

The difference is about 0.3% for Slave Drivers, but for other spectres, Faster Casting is far behind Elemental Focus. I suggest it so that people can easily swap between different spectres.

It's a similar to the choice between Elemental Weakness & Conductivity.

After experimenting more it seems that even for slave drivers elemental focus + specter cast speed helmet enchantment is better than faster casting + specter damage helmet enchantment.

As for your second build, I am wondering if Agnostic notables would be great(you also can get two, but Idk if they stack to 40%).

That passive would be detriment to the build since we are using almost all our Mana for auras. Agnostic removes your energy shield, so not only would you lose ~3k eHP, but you would always often be out of mana for a very low heal due to only having ~70 non reserved mana.

How do you run Zealotry/Wrath/Skitterbots together? With devouring wisdom it's 40+40+28?
