You should find what damage that tower do. If its true damage are Fire Damage - yep, you are actually reduce their dps.

Is stacking crit a good alternative way to go for Syndicate Operative or does it not work well with the way it attacks since it cast a spell that does the attack.

You answered your own question. You rely on spectres to be the main damage minions so they need to go into your chest as per OP page 1.

a spell triggers their attacks on every hit. the attacks can crit so yes crit is very good. thats why you go for precision and the cluster jewel setup includes a bunch of crit passives. end game you can add a bottled faith too and even spell crit on a helmet but that's gonna be super difficult to get

Crit is good but its just alot harder to get without Harvest

has anyone done any testing on Miserly Poacher from heists? I forget which one I got him in, but he seems to be very similar to Redemp Sentry except he's fire based and does explosive arrow. I have him in exact same gem setup as RS
