How do you have 2ex by day 2 exactly?

I got lucky and manually 6-L it within 100 fusings but man, if I didn't get lucky I dunno what id have done if i had to find a way to earn that currency

I got lucky and hit an unending hunger jewel in Act 4, sold it for 3 exalt.
"Hey Brittleknee. Thanks you for awesome build, I like it a lot. Playing with guardian aurabot and this build destroy everything. But when im doing solo t16 maps Im dying a lot. Damage is great but I dont feel save. What should I do to increase my survivability? Should I respec to "Delving" version?"

That what i wanted to write and I was thinking all day about it (being close to going crazy xd) I was asking myself how to increase my survi without sacrificing too much damage. I found the solution to my problem. Swapped my Flesh Offering to Bone Offering and brought Rumi's Concotion Flask. That all I did and it give me so much survi. My profile is public if anyone wanna check my char "VinqSRS".

Gonna get Bone Barrier. Thanks Lemistio for good tips.

Really enjoying your build so far this league but I had a couple of questions regarding gem links and ascendancy choices.

1) Why are we running storm brand AND worrying about lit damage on rings/amulets in order to proc EE via shield charge?

It seems like we should really just be doing one or the other. If we dropped storm brand we could put our curse into our weapon which would likely result in more reliable uptime. This is especially potent since we now want to try and aim our SRS to give the AI our desired trajectory.

2) Since we no longer need the curse in our CWDT setup - I think we should consider dropping this setup all together in favor of a minion oriented 4 link.

This is especially powerful if we get a +2 or +3 minion bone helm! People with crazy budgets could get an Elder helm with minion mods and potentially run both setups below.

For Defense: Zombies + Minion Speed + Minion Life + Meat Shield.
For Offense: Animate Guardian + Minion Speed + Minion Life + Carrion Golem

The AG link would open up a lot of possibilities via the Aura items like Leer's Cast, Singularity, Dying Breath etc... TONS OF OPTIONS

Which ties into my next point.

3) Commander of Darkness seems really "meh" at this point. 3% attack/cast speed is worse than a Minion Attack and Cast Speed node, 30% damage aura is covered by your animated guardians aura's (leer's cast and dying breath is 33% damage, not to mention the items are virtually free). Lastly the 20% all resist aura is really the only redeeming option here. Especially nice because it also gives your minions the resistances.

Now compare that talent to Bone Barrier. Bone Barrier gives us 10% damage reduction (granted it's just physical), 30 All Res, 30% Life recovery rate (kinda meh) and then minions have 20% MORE life.

On top of ALL that... It gives us an active "bubble" for an additional 2.2k shield on demand. Truly amazing for boss fights or other sketchy situations.

You think that this ascendancy couldn't get any better. Well get this...immunity to bleed damage while the bone barrier is active. Granted this is mostly covered by a flask it's still super nice since we'll be actively hitting this spell on CD.

Since we are dropping the Immortal Call setup which is only 1 second of 26% ele/phys reduction (super terrible) and then gaining the damage from our Animated Guardian setup, gaining 10 more all res, 30% life recovery rate and 20% MORE minion life. It seems like an obvious choice to swap these ascendancies.

4) The new convoking wands can roll up to 30% minion move speed, so these should 100% be the preferred crafting base now.

5) I didn't see anything about anointments (might have over looked it) but I'm assuming Ravenous Horde is the best option?

If these topics were covered in the last 50 pages I apologize, as I did not read this entire thread.
Great build! I've been having a blast. Let me know your thoughts!

Edit: 40/40 block helps for sure, but still dying :<
Edit2: With block im dying a lot less than before :)

Alright I played this as a league starter in Metamorph and it worked well. Here are my notes and changes and my experience so far. My character page is public - name is ApiaristBobbly.

Buy 6L covenant, it's cheap this league and much, much cheaper than linking one yourself.

I took Harrier on the tree as per my other reply, currently mapping with a 4-link raise zombies with feeding frenzy. These are great! Feeding frenzy buff + cold exposure on hit (SRS do majority cold damage in this build, so this actually really helps).

With zombies, I no longer felt like I needed melee splash in SRS, so I dropped it for WED. Also dropped Minion Speed, added Unleash, empower swapped for multistrike (possibly awakened multistrike if you can get one). This also means no need to constantly gem swap for t16 metamorphs.

Shield charging to keep up fortify kept getting me killed. I ended up dropping it (I needed the sockets for my zombies anyway) and I find metamorphs are easier to try and offscreen from range, rather than trying to keep up fortify.

Essence crafted rings for minion movement speed (you should use 4 fertile catalysts on the white base before crafting on vermillion rings, I forgot to do this).

It plays well, it's squishy (5.4k hp, 1k ES), and does well in this league.
I also took bone barrier instead of commander of darkness - I think the defensiveness really helps with this league.

Precision aura actually does almost nothing (something like 1% more dps). No real point in levelling it up, you can even ditch it completely but I couldn't think of anything else to use. Probably a portal gem is better, lol.

Careful planning is a cheap jewel to get 1% mana reservation on.

Also in Metamorph, amulets with Redeemer influence (the white wings) can roll the shaper-style reduced mana reserved (2-5%, two tiers) as well as grace and hatred specific mana reservation reductions.
I rolled my crappy one with Lucent fossils - seems a good endgame amulet choice if you can roll a good one.
Anointed amulet with Ravenous Horde.

Also running a cwdt-carrion golem-phase run at level 20. I feel like it helps against big hits, allows phasing out and possibly dropping some aggro. You get a billion free frenzy charges from Victario's shield as well.

Crafted shock nearby enemies on one ring for a nice 15% more damage on demand. Vaal haste + shock + EE does a lot of burst dps.

Thank you for posting this Bobblybook.
I also struggled without zombies with this build.
Shield bash is cool for movement but it's hard for me to proc haha.
First of all, happy holidays everyone!!

Kinda stuck currently with the build..

I know my srs dmg output can be way higher, I'm wearing a Tabula right now and just bought a 6L Covenant with 4B2R for now that will have to do as I'm basically running a 5L with the
Tabula since one gem is blood magic, so it's a lot of damage lost right there.

Furthermore, I would like to know what 4th blue gem, I should substitute until i can get the funds in order to turn the the armor into 3B3R

I know i also need to work on getting jewels in my jewel slots, a better weapon wouldn't hurt as well as a helmet.

Where do i go as far as enchantments? also are my flasks alright?

Its the only char in Metamorph by the way.

Where else could I improve as far as gear?

Thanks for any input guys!

Took Tabula off this char but i still use it, it has all gems lv 20 : SRS,minion damage, ele dmg with atks, ele focus, melee physical, blood magic

I think the weakest feature of this build is dealing with high tier incursions.

Sometimes you just enter Alva's portal, you are defenseless and damageless (no SRS when you enter) and you get instantly spammed with that chaos projectiles from the vaal constructs. If you are not prepared for this sort of thing and don't react VERY fast (i.e. flame dashing in a safe spot), you instantly die even if your chaos resistance is in the positives.

Should we replace any of our gems with the new Awakened skill gems? If so, which ones are the best?
Good morning Exiles,

Can anybody confirm a solo kill of Elder, Shaper, and the new guy this season using this build? I’m not there yet.. on about 18 watchstones. But I’m running into major issues downing some boss mobs in T14-16 maps (Cortex, Syndicate, Elder Guardian, the fist guy, Metamorphs in map with 600%+ buff). It is a struggle to down bosses without almost using all portals or even failing. I am still tuning to see if I can pull more dps and survivability, but this build does not feel strong enough for reliable end game anymore in my opinion.

I know changes were made to buff bosses and nerf the build. But with a lot of best in slot gear, this build still feels too weak to sustain end game.

I wrecked Blight league with this build and downed all content solo except for Uber Elder, and completed 37/40. So I’m no noob here, just considering rerolling if not end game viable.

Thank you, and Merry Christmas.

Youre missing a lot of damage on a LOT of pieces and some inefficient gearing decisions.

Careful planning on the the node under Quick Recovery covers all the dexterity issues we have with the build, freeing up the amulet slot for a potential +30% increased minion damage as well as mana reserved in the future to run Aspect of the Spider skill

Youre missing a lot of damage without Grip of the Council, as it gives a percentage of physical damage as EXTRA cold damage. This syngergies very well with the jewels as we can get %minion damage and physical damage on attacks for minions. I understand the need for a higher base hp and capped resistances, but its not good to cheap out on things such as life and resistances on pieces such as your rings and amulets and having to compensate for it through your jewels - get damage on parts of your build that can get damage.

make sure to grab potency of will to ensure maximum uptime of Flesh offering - it gives a huge dps boost

+levels to minion gems and + level to spell gems are still aquirable and will provide a masssive damage increase on SRS

make sure youre using flesh offering and storm brand/OOS on metamorphs and boss fights - they should melt so quickly
Breach : MLXFL

Summon Raging Spirit has 18% chance to summon an extra Minion or Flesh Offering grants an additional 21% increased Attack Speed are worth considering.

They look good for me.

Getting Trigger a Socketed Spell when you Use a Skill mod on your weapon is quite of QoL improvement. You use zombies, but no Meat Shield, so I'd try to get jewels giving them a chance to taunt on hit.
