You don't have enough life so mana would matter. With 4500 hp (you have around that), anything above 1930 mana is wasted. Basically, you remove your essence worm, you are not losing any EHP (and you get much from another ring).
You are also missing the life leech.
Finally, for the CDR to matter, you need enough attack speed.
Worms is only for no have mana reserved aNd get 50%+ spell damaGe from clear MIND jewel
Yeah, and you don't think any jewel can't get around that much damage? Please. 50% spell damage on a jewel is incredibly easy to get (and you are looking for multi anyway).
At least for me 50% spell damage, works much better than 1% damage life leech, increased 2k damage tolltype per spell, a considerable difference, really worth it

It's not one or the other.
You are using Essence worm + one jewel. You get:
-Wasted mana since you are over the ratio
-50% spell damage.
If you are using berek + one rare jewel, you get:
-The leech
-And at least as much damage from the jewel.
Anyway.

Scion can get better life/damage. But Elementalist clears faster because of ele prolif. You see, ele prolif causes the whole monster pack to get shocked, and they all explode increasing your effective range. Scion only shocks 8 mobs at a time.
Here is an Inquisitor version I played last league. It is similar in power to Scion. But as you can see the clear is slower.
I see. Then, the question is maybe stupid, but since you are getting much more damage from the scion (and being able to use Wrath), maybe removing lightning pen on arc and putting elemental proliferation couldn't work? I think you will be around the witch numbers with arc, but you would be much higher with the single target swap. I will check the numbers.

"the rolls of wand with elemental proliferation not have sense, not works"
I don´t understand this. This should work with the gems and seems the perfect solution for the clearspeed for scion or isn´t it?

I referred to an elementist, by an ascending passive bonus equivalent to an elemental proliferation, so no has meaning to use, for other vocations maybe it works
Life 4932
Unreserved mana 2125
Arc average hit 33.5k
HOWEVER, both numbers are calculated assuming that Shock gives 50% inc damage taken by enemies.
In reality, the shock against a large boss is much different. If you calculate all of the shock effect on my gear, my Elementalist shocks for about 46% inc damage taken, while the Ascendant only shocks for about 23% inc damage taken.
Redoing the numbers, the damage looks like this:
Elementalist 32.6k
Ascendant 32.4k (When doing this calculation, you must account that the Ascendant - Inquis node also increases damage taken by 10%, which is additive with shock)
On top of this, Ascendant maybe wants a poet's pen with Ele Prolif to have comparable clearspeed to the elementalist. Or perhaps, a Vinktar would do the trick, still have to do some tests. Still, they seem to have pretty similar dps, but Ascendant requires investment in 2 more expensive jewels and maybe other gear on top of that. In the end, it gets reflect immunity, but the setup is a bit more painful.
