Allellopathy's Blight+CwC+ED is definitely stronger than 5L Blight.

I know, like I said, I didn't make that change before is because cwc blight, DO damage was not enough and I had to use a 6L ED for bosses. Now, yes I'm going to make that change.

The huge thing about crafting here is the 20% chaos DoT Multiplier, I don't know how actual maths work but this "multiplier" is a huge damage boost.

Yes the best combination is:
P:
% Chaos damage, skill effect duration
% Damage over time
% Non-Ailment Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier
S:
Cast speed
% Chaos damage

If you had a base like that with 90% minion damage, that would sub out damage over time.

It is about 100+ ES loss but the huge damage boost is juicy for me at least.

So with x2 of those wands its about 100k damage increase over grey spire. ES loss is negligible. My main issue with it is that we're still at 6.5k ES without the +4 max res. I don't want to be that squishy. I'd rather use a wand + shield at have 8k ES. Damage in that setup stays about the same as Grey Spire.

If you no longer use Grey Spire, there will be 3 sockets free up from each weapon.
From your PoB, you have Blasphemy, TC, Discipline, Malevolence in helmet, move either one of it to weapon slot, then you can fit Lv4 Enlighten to it.
Helmet - Blasphemy, TC, Discipline, Lv4 Enlighten
Weapon - Malevolence, "extra aura" , Lv4 Enlighten

Yeah I thought you were talking about ditching Witchfire for a consistent despair and going back to impresence. Doing that and using TC/Enfeeble would mean even with x2 Enl4 we wouldn't have enough mana left over to cast Blight well: https://pastebin.com/bkXQ3tHR

Spreading Rot has been nerf, I'd take one out for Conqueror Potency.

But that would mean we apply wither slower with Blight. It's already shitty compared to Withering Presence, don't really want to make it worse. Also Conq pot doesn't really give that much damage.

So changes I'm most likely making (writing for my reference mostly):

CwC ED blight.
Spiritual Aid.

Adding an option for the Citaqualotl modded wand + Shield + Artic armor. I don't think a regular multimodded wand (x2 or wand + shield) is worth losing +4 res. I don't want to add minion wand + shield as the main option cause it relies on getting that base first.

I'll also add the arctic armor + cdwt pros if you do go the wand route.

Wanted to throw out Le Heup of All as a solid ring. I don't recall see it being mentioned but it has some stats that we need and are useful. Str, all resists and the extra dmg %. Missing ES and ES regen but figure it's a good starter/mid way type item. Plz tell me if this is terrible haha.

Heup is not a bad ring for DO. I didn't add it since its an intermediate ring till you get proper ES rings and since we level as ED/Soulrend, damage is not a a problem. I value the x2 24% faster ES craft.

Can someone explain the Solstice Vigil in this build? I'm not understanding how the Shaper's presence effect helps us.

I'm using Solstice Vigil just for the 100% TC reduction, so combined with Witchfire, I get two auras for free. Let's me fit in Malevolence. That TC reservation is enough reason to not use Impresence imo.

Shaper's presence increases the duration of Arcane surge and Infusion (from infusing chanelling) on us.

Dabating which one to get and Impresence seem half the price of Solstice.

In context of this build, Impresence is defensive, Solstice is offensive. But Solstice + Witchfire let's us fit in Malevolence. If you use Impresence, you have to use despair + TC + blasphemy, and drop witchfire. Gives you more consistent Despair but means you can't use Malevolence.

Just did it on standard (for testing) clearspeed is insane (wtf just run around :D) but bosses are like you said pretty hard. i got around 6k es and i get oneshot on T16 boss AND 300~ delve any ice spike is oneshoting me as well. i mean you can't avoid everything. if the build would be a bit more tanky that would be great.

Yeah its a bit squishy against some bosses that don't let you kite and let the ES recharge kick in. Otherwise its fine. I'll add an alternative shield + wand setup with 8k ES which might be tankier. I'll have to test and see.

Yee, just don't run 60% less ES recovery mods on tough bosses lol.

I would like to add that bane/ED don't disappear even if gems are switched, so how about having weapon swap 6L staff with bane for bosses? We can even add despair to that, so we can have it permanently even on bosses.
Like what, 1 time in 10 sec, weapon swap, bane, and weapon swap back. Seems good to me for quite a big chunk of damage and despair curse without need of refilling of witchfire brew.

You could do that for bosses yes. But then you won't have despair while clearing if you drop Witchfire. You could just use Bane while clearing too but then at that point why not drop DO altogether?

Let's say you run the regular setup for clearing (minus despair) and weapon swap into Bane/Soulrend/ED for bosses, that's totally doable and would help with single target. I'm just trying to keep this a cohesive DO build.

No, i didn't mean to drop witchfire, ofcourse :)
i meant it as option for prolonged boss fights, when witchfire isn't enough.

And no, i'll never switch DO to full bane. That wasn't my reason. I just really like DO, and so "stronger build become - happier i am". Currently, the weakest part of the build is single target bosses, and therefore i find the option of solving it without hurting anything else quite precious.
Considering that i never saw anyone mentioning weapon swap option, i thought that maybe i missed something crucial, and wanted an opinion of others.

P.S. Can even equip +4 bow with caustic arrow and soulstrike quiver. Can be good boss killing setup too, and much faster start of recharge of ES :)
And yeah, nevermind me, just thinking aloud. For some reason, i never noticed how easy it is to change death's oath into something else with just weapon swap.
Already made multiple plans, if only making staff with chaos gem level would be easier - i would go for it, but will probably stick with bow.
If price for 4 socket resonators will be small as it is now, it will be extremely easy to get +4 bow, with 130% increased minion damage, and multicraft 40% non-ailment chaos multi with +2 to support gems. With that kind of bow, you don't even need weapon swap. It will be more raw damage of DO than grey spire, and still have CA with 7x damage of our DO (can even do ED with the same damage as that CA, but as i said, staff making is much harder). Just theorycrafting is satisfying, it's a shame that i broke xD

I was wondering if anyone know if there is any reason to quality your less duration gem, since it only reduces the duration does it even affect the death's aura?

No you can definitely weapon swap for a stronger single target. There's no good reason for not weapon swapping, I just didn't want to reply on a weapon swap that's all. It's a good option.

Void Beacon damage increase is very marginal over Malediction, but Malediction offers a possible third curse (i runs one cuse in blasphemy and 2 in bane for bosses) and 10% less damage taken.

Update on a change I did tonight. Bought an impresence.

I'm able to squeeze in Aspect of spider, temp chains + malevolence + enlight(3), despair , disciple + enlighten (2) [maybe i should've bought enlighten (3)]

I've got 74 mana left so its a super tight fit but I got em all and feels fine for now.

I'm on wand and shield. My character is public if you're curious about my links.

There was 1 auls w/ free malevolence for 30ex so if you got the $$ for that, it'd be an easier fit haha.
