3.8 New Queens Escape + Baron - super fast physical skeletons + zombies

hey Grimlock, which is more valuable? a 6 Link queen's escape or a 6 link belly of the beast? The Queen's escape has near perfect stats. the belly is 15 percent resist and 40% increased life.

which is more valuable in terms of currency but also stats? the queen's escape has near 200% increased duration and max minion speed. Please help me choose. I am nearly going to do it! My FIRST 6 link!!!
Not tried them yet, but I assume you need to call bodies of them with desecrate of a high enough level? Or do they still die then?
Hi thanks for build.Tell me which of the options is better for the build HC of your guide?

For HC, definitely go ahns heritage, wyrmscale, mon'tregul or 90% damage rare, and even ahns contempt. Here's a sample of how it looks with a focus on mitigating elemental damage, plus using reckless defence. You'd need the pantheon to be the crit minimising one. The rampage from wyrmscale is great for defence too.

Lol, Sighlight you are tearing it up! I couldn't tell you, as I never got the 6-link belly myself.... But I'd say the skellies would be first 6 link instead of zombies.

got a question on the chief specters. how do i keep them alive? every time they chest pound for buffs they damage themselves. am i missing something?

If you link them to blood magic, when they chest pound they will use up some life. But they must be really low level for you to notice! Therefore, I'd say your problem is spectres are too low level. See earlier post for a list of reasons this might happen.

lol what. SO THAT'S WHY you used blood magic. I didn't understand that at all. I didn't understand why you were using blood magic there. oh man, you are a genius. is that why my monkeys keep dying? Even though they are the highest map level, they do die now and then. If I use blood magic, they will rarely die? it makes that much of a difference?

I love using the monkeys. They are the best for DPS right?

Grimlock, for Queen's escape, how important is the increased skeleton duration stat and the minion movement stat? Does 100% increased movement and 200% increased skeleton really help the build a lot? or is that negligible?

My anecdote, but I noticed a substantial increase in both clear speed and DPS when I finally got a 5-link Queen. Mainly by DPS I'm referring to the minions getting to their target so much faster. Basically an effective DPS boost.

Also, I didn't understand the need for Blood Magic at all, either. LOL. Makes total sense now, though.

It is extremely important if you plan on using to dust jewels, as it will counteract their reduced skeleton duration modifier. Even so, even a low rolled duration modifier on queens escape is overkill (they'll never unsummon before they either die, or you move on and re-summon), so don't worry at all about the duration stat.

Just so we're clear, the reason why we want the spectres to use life for casting spells, is that they have a really low mana pool. If they use mana to cast, they run out fast and just stand there. If they use life to cast, they will cast way more frequently and your charges have greater uptime. The bloodmagic gem does nothing for their survivability. For their survivability, we have the minion life gem, the +2 stat from the helm, the purity of elements, the zombie phys damage reduction, the enfeeble and the minion life nodes from the tree.

The spectres will die sometimes, but this should become less and less frequent as you get into higher level maps. By the time you summon them in a tier 15 map with level 20 desecrate and level 20 raise spectre, they will be much safer, and should die even less than your golem.

Until this time, you can help them by taking more minion survivability nodes from the passive tree, and giving up some of your own life.
Can I use an elder helmet with "Socketed gems are supported by Minion Damage" and "Socketed gems are supported by Minion Life" mods instead of The Baron? I have a 5-link Queen now but far from a 6-link. Please help!
