*Updated for 3.2* Volkuur's poison! millions of dps (7.5 mil shaper - 20 mil shaper GG gear)
" For me it's depends on gear(jewels, etc.). Better to use PoB to check. Load your char in PoB and turn on nodes power, you will see is attack speed nodes is better than elemental damage ones. Editado por útlima vez por RawDamage#1722 en 20 mar. 2018 15:44:47

" it depends how much from each stats you already have. both are good. you should get both of them. if you have a lot of attack speed and no %inc ele dmg with attacks, go for ele dmg. same for the other way around. they are both a damage multiplier. the multiplication gets best if both stats have same values. to understand that: 2+8=10 5+5=10 2*8=16 5*5=25 if both stats are "5", you get the best multiplier, therefor the most damage. 5 is just a random number to show the thought of using multipliers clever. you will get the best dmg if you do not max out 1 stat, but use each stat efficiently. |

Just curious, guys, how much dps you got in a budget variant of build? Without buying jewels and dying sun? I'm asking, beacause want to improve my tree/gear but with limited budget(I know that jewels is the key, but anyway).
Currently siting on 1.5kk shaper dps(3kk normal), 4700 life(without MoM) Let's share experience, trees/gear, etc. Editado por útlima vez por RawDamage#1722 en 20 mar. 2018 15:50:04

Hello there! Your build looks awessome, i wanna start one at std but i think my currency is not enough for it (yet) lol. Also i have a old 6L quill and i wonder if adding it to the build would be ok and not a big deal because of the stats. If u have any tips for making it "budget" like alternatives to the jewel's prefix/suffix-es or something else i'd appreciate it a lot! :D

Hey Sacro, like the guide.
I'm struggling with some things. I feel like my damage should be better than it is. The only things I'm lacking are Dying sun, a Barrage enchant, and a +2 quiver. I'm at lvl 90 with roughly the same tree (one more node for fire res on my tree) and struggling on guardians. I have a +1 quiver, a 6L barrage, decent accuracy rating, impresence, plenty of 50+ damage jewels (2 are not and they have life/blind). What am I doing wrong? I'm able to kill them but it takes FOREVER kiting them around. I start off the fights with 3-5 barrages and most of them hit. The wither totem is up as well. Yet I just don't deal much damage to them. Is doing the lightning version causing me to lose damage compared to your Fire Version? What am I missing on this build? I've invested a lot of time and currency and am kind of disappointed. Mapping hasn't been much of an issue (just slow, but I'm fine with that), just bossing. Here is a PoB of my current gear and whatnot. https://pastebin.com/dSedXADN Editado por útlima vez por JuzoGA#5678 en 20 mar. 2018 19:28:33

" your gear is decent, it should be able to kill shaper. i found some things though. your attack speed is very low. you will gain a lot of dps by improving it. it will also boost your poison duration indirectly=> more hits for noxious strike and inc poison duration. therefore you should really get your gmp to 20% quality for 10% inc as. in terms of attack speed, you could also replace your bismuth with a silver flask. this would also improve mapping by a lot. your life is a bit low while your mana is too high. maybe swap it a bit so that our mana pool equals 45% of your life pool. try to get 3,6k hp and 1650 mana. i dont like ice golem. swap in an enhance gem to boost your despair aura further. you cannot rely on an ice golem, this thing dies quickly. the current problem with the lightning version is that good jewels, which you need for this build, are damn expensive or not available at all. getting 2 t2 lightning rolls+attack speed if crit recently or a life roll seems impossible. thats why you dont come close to the fire version yet. a dying sun will greatly improve your boss dps. additional arrows gives poison duration as well as plain damage resulting in 20-30% more damage. with the flask nodes you have, you should have a good uptime on coraltio's. if you remove 20% chance to poison on tree( skill dmg to get to dirty techniques, safe 1 point, or the 1 point next to fatal toxins) and get 2 skillpoints from somewhere else( maybe remove some mana) you could get another jewel which should improve your dps by another 5-10%. *edit* updates Editado por útlima vez por Sacr0#4430 en 20 mar. 2018 20:37:48

So after a chat with the build dev he came up with some new stuff for me,
i decided to start using this flask for those moments where i am taking significant damage so i can keep attacking, i have noticed a great reduction in the amount i am stunned also as my mana is always full for mom. if you cannot afford the barrage helmet consider using this settup its working very well for me helmet gives a nice buff to dispair witch helps a lot with degen of harder fights/boss fights i find not using blasphemy for the aura is a great benefit, as nothing really gets in the range of your aura anyways, we want to run away and be defensive. also because i am now casting when damage taken, when i get hit by spells/projectiles i instantly curse that pack resulting in that pack no longer existing, it seems way more of a benefit to CWDT this as it is cursing and eliminating your threat as soon as that curse triggers. <-- see gem links. as a result the despair amulet is now redundant and not needed, we gain way more dps from the effigon. all of this has greatly enhanced my enjoyment of the build, i am seeing a lot less deaths and a lot more clear speed, and this setup is not expensive at all! :D Editado por útlima vez por Cchris07#7105 en 20 mar. 2018 21:25:06

Are jewels the way to go to increase my damage the most?
