[3.3] ELEMENTAL MOLTEN STRIKE&FROST BLADES | UBER ELDER DOWN!! | DEADEYE/PF/RAIDER
" Hi thanks for reply. I will replace blood magic with fortify yeah. Bosses melt when I can stay alive so I'm not worried about power charges until I can sort the survivability. I'm at 120k tooltip in hideout now, I'll switch out some abyss jewels for blind on hit and see how that works out. EDIT: Also out of inpulsa's, shroud & loreweave what do you think is best? I have all 3 but lore isnt 6l yet. Don't want to waste my time 6l'ing it if it's not better than the others. Cheers Editado por útlima vez por danciderus#6456 en 17 mar. 2018 9:44:39

" Wasp nest is actually very good on a budget but eventually a midend (~40c) Imperial Claw would be able to outperform it. Look for an Imperial claw with >2aps, some flat ele dmg and crit chance (master craft fine for crit chance). Just a quick check on your gear, you require some life. You're also missing an Abyss jewel with %blind on hits which is big for defensive (only need one). I was able to do Uber lab with about ~5k life but I was very patient with traps. The tactic against Izaro if you cannot dps him down as he spawns is to run around him in circles and drop molten strike balls on him after he finishes an attack. Then you keep running around in circles and repeat. " " I haven't been able to play with Loreweave myself but just going by pure numbers it is the most damage and it is quite significant (~ 10-15% dps extra). I also have an extra plug, Farrul's Fur which I'm using atm is pretty damn amazing after I found out that you could link Less Duration to it to have permanent Power/Frenzy charges meaning that you can drop the generators in the gems setup. I myself have dropped offensive curses and am now using Enfeeble with Curse on Hit which is incredible with blind for defenses. Feel free to look at my profile at how I've set up. I think Inpulsa would be the safe choice, it does give an ok amount of life and does provide nice damage. Aim for 5.6k health+ on a budget and 5.8k+ if you have boss gear. Looking at your setup, and that 120k dps tooltip is quite a lot, this is what I'd try: Thunderfists/pseudo 6L gloves: Frost Blades-WED-Multistrike-Ancestral Call Tombfists (swap in vs bosses): Curse on Hit-Enfeeble Helm/Boots: Ancestral Protector-Orb of Storms-PWCOC-Culling Strike Helm/Boots: Wrath-HoI-Immortal Call-CWDT Weapons: Whirling Blades-Fortify-Faster Attacks, Ice Golem-Blood Rage-Vaal Lightning Trap It's up to you if you want to go with this but honestly for the end game bosses, Frost Blades is almost useless except for taking out a few adds. FYI, have another new video up: First Red Elder (T12) attempt - https://streamable.com/aza96 Editado por útlima vez por Eathb#4744 en 17 mar. 2018 12:50:14

" What does curse on hit/enfeeble do in the tombfists? Unless I'm missing something don't u have to link it to HoI or CWDT? |
|
I was doing a T15 elder and I failed the shaper phase twice. Should I be using Molten Strike or Frostblades to clear this phase? I tried using frost blades but the damage was too low. I tried with molten strike and that failed too. Also is there a specific reason why we stack lightning damage on our abyss jewels rather than say, fire or cold?

" That is correct, I was under the impression that Curse on Hit was global. CWDT with Enfeeble would also work fine. " I used Molten Strike exclusively (Tombfist swap). Were you able to do Shaper? I think if you can do Shaper, you'd be able to do T15 Elder and it may be more of a mechanics/practice. I found against Elder that there was so much on the screen during the portal phase that I was constantly leeching life. The new phase at the end where you have to bounce between circles was the tricky part and what has gotten me a few times. Flat lightning damage gives more top end dps than the two, but overall it doesn't really matter too much as just stacking flat ele damage is nice nevertheless. I wasn't able to take out the Elder in the portal phase in my video but when I manage to spawn him again, I'll record another attempt and try to down him there. " Your life on gear appears to be on the low rolls or master crafted. I'd aim for ~5.6k+ life. Also with your gear, I'd have Curse on Hit-Herald of Ice-Assassin's Mark/Enfeeble-Ancestral Protector on the boots. Put Orb of Storms-Power Charge on Crit on your Tombfists which you will equip swap against difficult bosses. FWIW, for Deadeye Rangers, I have somewhat of a change. I think the Deadeye class does a lot of damage regardless and that it can be sacrificed a bit for survival. At the moment, I have taken out the attack speed/crit chance nodes in the bottom right and have taken up 4 nodes to Phase Acrobatics. Furthermore, I am now using Enfeeble instead of Assassin's Mark to add to this. Down the line this may change as I get better gear but I am quite happy with this set-up right now. I think for the Raider and PF class, it can remain as is as their ascendencies come with defensive options. Editado por útlima vez por Eathb#4744 en 18 mar. 2018 2:34:10

@AccidentalChaos
Managed to get a T14 Red Elder video. Almost died once but I did finish im off in the Portal phase, hope it helps you and anyone else in how to handle the Elder fight. https://streamable.com/cczza |

" Do you have ancestral call on your molten strike in that video? |
|
I also thought about tinkering with the new bestiary uniques. What do you think of using the avian chest/gloves with the gloves having increased duration of the Avians might?
|
|
What do you think about a Watcher's Eye Jewel with like 15% Lightning Penetration instead of the normal ones?
